Hi all,

Just wondering how easy it is to find veg*n roommates in Sydney as I planning to move there in Sept.

Any help/insight would be great.

Thnx,
John

Bondi Beach might be a good place to start, I've seen ads there for vegan housemates.
Or contact vegans unite http://www.vegansunite.org.au/sydney/

I agree with Jacqui about the Bondi area but would also suggest the area around Sydney University (Camperdown, Darlington, Newtown, Enmore, Dulwich Hill etc). There are lots of good places to eat in this area & lots of chances for share-house accommodation because of the proximity to the university. From my experience sharehouse room with shared bathroom & kitchen would set you back between $100-$130 a week for rent. Minimum weekly rent in Bondi area would be more like $120-$150 I reckon.

Anyone else got any ideas for Sydney areas?

I wanna be rich and live somewhere on the North Shore or at Manly.

I love Sydney.

Just spent the week at Freshwater beach (the one next to Manly) at my Granny's. She lives practically on the shore. Damn the Northern beaches are nice.

Lot of veg*ns in the Blue Mountains but that's a little far, I guess.
