You're a bit out of date cobber! This is the warmest night in several days.
It has been down to 8 deg. when I've got up at 6 am. :)
I treated myself to a 'you beaut' thermostatically controlled electic blanket last winter so I laugh at the cold these days.
I just checked the thermometer and it only went up to 28 in Bris today. :D

Sydney is cold right now, it's been like this for the last few days overnight. But the days have been warm enough in the mid 20's. Winter is coming.

I was on Moreton Island off the coast of Brisbane last month for a week and it was continually warm. Go QLD, beautiful one day...etc...etc...

Yeah we even get snow in some places and people go skiing there.

In the south we get winter but in the north it's pretty tropical, Sydney kind of gets both, In tasmania, that's the little Island off the bottom it gets real cold. The snow mostly happens in the mountainous areas on the mainland.

You Northern Hemisphere folk would think it was warm though. I've been wearing a light coat in the morning to go to worlk but all the tourists are in T-shirts and shorts. A humerous disparity.

They are Witchy, also Australia is very big and vary wide and there is a large variety of climates. We have snow capped mountains, deserts, rainforests, plains, and more. In one place it can be 3 or 5 degrees centigrade and at the same time it is 35 degrees centigrade somewhere else on the same day. Some of us are shivering and some of us are sweating. I try and do a bit of both.

Hello Geoff hows the furry creatures?

I was in Melbourne in October last year and it's true every season occured over 24 hrs. It was cold then it rained then the sun came out and it was warm then it rained and then it got cold again.

They have dozens of great Vegan restaurants there, I am jealous.

Antony - I'm not talking to you, you miserable bugger! You went to Moreton and didn't even drop in to say hallo to me and Martin (who is going well and reached 700 grams on the weekend) :D

Enough with the Americanisms already! In Australia you can freeze your tits, arse or nuts off but not, repeat, not, your butt. :)

Yeah butts in Australia are on the end of cigarettes and they should be banned, no matter what the weather:eek:

I wouldn't mind a cuddle though we have them here:D

Funny how Australians seem as obsessed about the weather as Brits.;)
