Love snowboarding. I went last year with my sis in Big Bear California. Use to go snowboarding in Utah a lot also. Great fun!!

On the 29th of March I had an accident in borovetz, Bulgaria, where we had gone for ski vacations. Since then, due to severe injury in ADC ligament and internal meniscus I am stuck at home, because I became a person of reduced mobility:(. I will go on an operation at the end of this month, which makes me both anxious and happy...

I used to Snowboard at Winter Park when I lived in Colorado (last did it about 6 years ago). Winter Park is an awesome place. I decided to jump back into boarding recently and went to the SnowDome last night, after a couple of hours I was linking turns and stopping well again, albeit my toe edge manoeuvres are much better than my heal edge but that's something I can work on in the future :)

Purchase wrist guards. Either online or the Snow+Rock shop in Birmingham, you'll be glad you did.

Didn't know about you going snowboarding, Zero until I read your wall! Well I've had wrist guards at Ackers, but am I right that if you don't fall properly wrist guards make you more at risk of breaking your arm? I've had an injury for weeks! The other one disappeared weeks ago. Would of been good to have a pic of the massive bruise! May be back to Ackers soon. Snowdome has fake snow doesn't it? Never been there. Would be good to see it. Ackers is more convenient for myself money and travel wise. Snow and Rock may of been the shop I went to. I tried on some shorts with padding wherever I went. They may of cost around £82, but I sewed padding on to some pants of mine instead.

Possibly, but with enough impact to break your arm you would certainly have broken your wrist.

Yeah the Snowdome has manufactured snow, although synthetic slopes are cheaper I'm too fond of my fingers to risk breaking them on that webbed fibre stuff.
