I had the fortune of seeing a talk and doc by Howard Lyman the mad cowboy (http://madcowboy.com) recently anyways he was excited to announce that 400+ PBS stations will be airing his hour long documentary on mad cow disease/veganism that he's been working on for 3 years. I saw the documentary, it's very tastefully done and quite emotional and I have a feeling he's going to move a lot of folks towards veganism and vegetarism. Give it a looksee if you get the chance. Here's a current schedule: http://madcowboy.com/02_PBSschedule.html

Thanks for this Conrad. I saw the link you provided to his website on another discussion and meant to thank you then.

Ironically, the litigation consulting company I work for (Courtroom Sciences, Inc.) assisted Oprah's trial team in the Texas Cattlemen case. However, I was not employed here at the time.

Peace!

I read his book about a year ago. It was very enlightening and I wish the PBS special were airing in the NW.

I met him at a book signing about a year ago. His book was the catalyst for me thinking also about the environmental issues regarding animals raised for food.
My, how a year can change someone...
