My favourite is fresh, organic pineapple (non-organic tastes 1000% different, I think...)

I personally can't stomach non-organic. Surely my stomach is sensitive to those nasty pesticides. :(

On a positive note---pineapple is indeed delicious, pavotrouge. :)

Cherries!!!

And the season is almost upon us. They are nice here, and I am very very very blessed to live in an area that is chock full of cherry trees - I have been watching the fruit developing on the trees on my way to work over the past while now.

What you buy in the shops, organic or not simply does not compare in flavour to what you get off the tree yourself. Last year I was fortunate to be in Italy during cherry season (which comes about a month earlier there) and gorged myself on the fruit.

Amazing stuff but probably good that it has such a short season. I eat way too much of them when they are available.

hmmm... i would say i do also really enjoy organic pineapple... sometimes i just eat a whole one for breakfast on the weekends... well it turns into an all-day pinapple eating spree for the big ones. but it makes me happy:D

yeah, the first time I tasted organic pineapple I was all like "Wow, I actually like that stuff!"- I never really like pineapple before and had some traumatic experiences connected with my ex-girlfriend and a pineapple... don't ask ^_^

I never really liked watermelon but recently, I've been eating it a lot and I really like it now. I only like it when it's ripe and dark pink inside.

Pears. I love pear juice as well. I also love tangerines, but they don't seem to be sold as much as they used to.

It's so hard to choose!
Apples (Golden Delicious) and kiwi during the winter.
Bananas, pineapples and very ripe apricots during the summer.
Figs and grapes in autumn.
Yum!
