I'm very excited about this
It says on several sites that they're all zero cholesterol and water based (not cream)

Impulse buy!
Just ordered 7 bottles (to get free delivery): Toasted marshmallow, white chocolate, irish cream, tiramisu, blue carucoa, lemongrass, butterscotch
Should be with me tomorrow :D
Am hoping the irish cream will make a suitable flavour alternative for baileys in cocktails

OK, so I know that judging by the overwhelming response thus far I'm officially the only person excited by this discovery, but heh.
I got my delivery a day late (bastards), with a bottle of tea concentrate not lemongrass and have done some experimenting tonight.
1) Butterscotch poured on swedish glace vanilla is simply amazing. Unbelievable. I just had a scoop as a taster, but had to go back for more. Wow.
2) Marshmallow mixed with So Good is pretty good
3) White Chocolate, Kahlua and So Good is fantastic
4) White Chocolate, Tiramisu and chocolate alpro is pretty good
5) White Chocolate, Tiramisu and Swedish glace vanilla is pretty good
6) Tea concentrate, archers peach and water is pretty good, but not quite there. Needs experimentation.
7) White Chocolate and Cointreau is too sweet
8) White Chocolate, Cointreau and Angostura orange bitters is better - the sweetness is offset, but it needs more work
9) Angostura 1919 rum, Tiramisu and Swedish Glace vanilla is alright - needs more work. Actually no, it's pretty good. Would work better with chocolate fingers and a lady finger :D
I'm not pissed up - in the whole evening I've had less than 2 shots of booze.
Irish cream is very disappointing - it smells nor tastes anything like baileys. It's designed to be drunk with espresso, which given the fact it's the evening I'm not going to try right now!
You only need the tinniest amount of syrup in each drink - it's so incredibly sweet. Recipes online use like a whole shot, which is far too sweet even for me!

7) maybe plus soya milk....
what about irish cream in a kind of white russian? that should be tasty... and probably even better if it is prepared with vanilla milk or even almond milk adding a bit of amaretto :dizzy:

Cointreau is pretty sickly sweet anyway though - is it actually sweeter than it would normally be?

I shopped around first, then bought mine from http://www.discountcoffee.co.uk/ who do a discount if you buy 6 bottles, have free delivery for over £50 (bare in mind that each litre weighs almost 2kg, so they're paying £10 for it) and take google checkout (so no probs delivering to work address). I got seven bottles and a mini grater costing under a quid, which took the total to just over £50. So, about 7 quid a bottle inc delivery, each of which contains 40 shots, or 18p a shot (roughly half the price of a shot from a 70cl bottle of spirit costing £10).
I always work out the cost of drinks as I'm making or buying them. Quite often you see cocktails being sold for over a fiver which have under £1 worth of ingredients. If you drink 2 in an hour you're paying a lot for the privilege!

It's difficult to describe the syrup, but it's not quite like you'd expect. I think they've tried to replicate the taste of whiskey rather than chocolate/coffee, as it's designed to be added to it not drunk like baileys. I think it probably will be good in coffee, but I drink coffee very rarely (not a caffeine fan).

Oh yes. Imagine your favourite drink, with several tsp of sugar added ;)
The syrups are full of flavour, so you generally either don't need very much, pair them with something bitter or to use them in a long drink.
Last night I tried:
a) 1 shot sweet vermouth, 1 shot dry vermouth, 1 shot benedictine (yesterday's new acquisition) & 1 tsp absinthe shaken with ice then served with 1 drop of orange bitters as a float. It was strong but very pleasent - certainly the nicest drink I've had containing absinthe.
b) more swedish glace vanilla with butterscotch syrup - just served straight as scoops, not blended. I've never been impressed by the concept of just pour something over icecream, but this is really good. It's kind of like maple/agarve syrup, but more butterscotchy
c) 1 shot gin, 1 shot dry vermouth, 1 shot orange juice, 1 tsp blue curacao syrup, shaken with ice and served frappe - It was green, which was pleasing. Other than that it was OK. I think it could actually use more sweetness - next time I'd try a full shot of blue curacao.
d) 1 shot white chocolate syrup, 1 shot amaretto, 1 shot cognac, 1 shot fresh alpro cream, shaken with ice then served in a small glass with hotel chocolate shavings floated on top. Very nice, rich, creamy, would make again. Possibly without the amaretto, possibly not. I'm always a bit scared of trying recipes that include cognac as mistakes are 2-3x more expensive, but it was worth the risk. I really need to find some cheap vegan VS for mixing.

Fantastic public service you are doing there Mr F! Keep us posted on your experiments. I don't tend to like sweet drinks but I might be tempted to order some of these myself.

And they do a display stand which we will need - sooooo many flavours to tempt us with!

Yes, I'm not overly impressed by it thus far, but haven't tried it in coffee, which apparently it's good in.
I've made perfect tasting marshmallow syrup in the past (boiling sugar, water, vanilla gelling agent) whilst trying and failing to make marshmallows.
Apparently the word toasted is key - it's meant to taste slightly 'burnt'.
White chocolate and butterscotch are the best so far. I'm holding out that tea will good, but it's not summer at the moment so I'm not in iced tea inspired drinks mode. I'd like to try lemongrass (not in stock), dark chocolate and more of the asian flavours.

I just had a really quite unpleasent experience.
I made a quick sponge in the microwave, which sort of did work (roughly 20g self raising, 15g sugar, a little baking powder, 15g water, a dash of oil and a few drips of almond essence, nuked for 2 minutes). Then poured tiramisu syrup over the top and added squirty cream.
It was, basically, not very nice at all. I thoroughly don't recommend it!

Now trying a porn star martini
Vanilla vodka, fresh passion fruit and a dash of White chocolate syrup. Shaken with ice and served in a martini glass with a separate shot of chilled champagne. (or in my case cava, because I'm cheap)
The idea is that you mix the two in your mouth
It's a little sweet for me. Quite pleasant, you can taste all the flavours. I ended up mixing the 2 in the martini glass and added more cava. I'm not sure I'd make it again - am not a massive vanilla vodka fan (more of this bottle has been used for cleaning than drinking so far!).

So far I'd only recomend of the 6 I got the butterscotch and the white chocolate. I think tea could come into it's own in the summer when I'm making more long refreshing drinks. It's a well acknowledged fact that blue curacao only exists for one reason and this syrup does the job, but on reflection a shot of cointreau with a drop of blue food colouring in would be far better!
The other night (Monday?) I tried a syrupless white russian variation drink "Hammer Horror", which was pretty good.
1 shot kahlua
1 shot vodka
several scoops vanilla swedish glace
shake until no lumps (blending would work too) then serve in a martini glass and garnish with finely chopped chocolate (important - it's far nicer if you drink it through the shavings than without).

I don't drink coffee very often as I'm not a particular fan of caffeine.
At the weekend i made a pot of espresso and tried various cocktails (including a "Chocolate Orgasm" (Kahlua, cherry vodka, espresso, white chocolate syrup & soya milk shaken with ice), which can only have been invented by someone with a very substandard sex life).
In terms of espresso neat with syrup I liked white chocolate best of the 3 I tried - irish cream & toasted marshmallow being the others. All were OK. I'm wishing I'd bought a hazelnut syrup now, I used to love that stuff in americano.
So my decision that butterscotch and white chocolate are the best (of the 6 i've tried) still remains.

Damn it. Most of the flavours I wanted to order are out of stock. :rolleyes:
eta So I ordered some from www.creamsupplies.co,uk instead, they were £6.95 each for the 1 litre size, £3.50 for the 250ml size. The cheapest postage option was courier, next day delivery if you order before 3pm, costing about £7.

no further feedback I'm affriad, other than that I'm almost out of white chocolate now.
I still maintain that white chocolate and butterscotch are the best - I'd certainly buy them again. The other bottles are largely untouched so far.

I'm going to try making some cocktails, have so far resisted breaking them open just to sniff them! But I opened the caramel and had a few squirts in my coffee this morning.
(As well as caramel I bought white chocolate, butterscotch, toffee crunch, toasted marshmallow, chocolate and chai)

Well I have to admit I've not done anything with them yet apart from try them once on ice cream and in coffee. All very nice as far as I could tell (including the toasted marshmallow which you didn't rate so my opinion may not be of much use to you!)
I'm not hugely in love with the caramel syrup though - some sort of strange aftertaste to it imo, compared to others I've tried.

Hmmmmmm..... I think once I stop being a feckless shifter and go get a job I'll be off to get some of these :)
I wonder if I could put a small shot in a glass jar (like a babyfood jar) to sneak into my local coffee shop? They seem to go a little unstable when you ask for syrup... and half your drink is made up of sugar!

Not yet. Had a slight incident today involving the fat face sale which, combined with a similar incident in monsoon a couple of weeks back has somewhat hit my syrup budget (not that there was one in the first place!).
I do *need* to acquire some white chocolate syrup sometime soon thou.
In the meantime I've got a date with half a watermelon. Something I pioneered last weekend which turned out spectularly well (after making quite a lot of mess) is half a watermelon, ice, morgans spiced rum, dark rum and southern comfort blended together then strained through a sieve to get rid of the pith/seeds. Bright pinky red and very good. No idea what the measurements were, but I certainly had some issues with co-ordination after a couple of glasses :D
