Where did you get that RedWellies? :)
From the local health food shop. I'd not seen them before. They are nice!! Strawberry ripple flavour.
Cucumber and nori salad. I didn't like it tbh. :S The nori got all soft and mushy and made me want to gag.
Seaweed soup, absolutely delicious. And a Magnum-type ice-cream, 100% vegan :)
I want to know all about the seaweed soup Fiamma, did you make it yourself? I'm trying to get omega 3 from marine sources........all the talk about DHA on the forum got me worried!
A peanut butter cup
Very tasty too :)
A Coco Loco nakd bar
picture of it here...scroll down a bit and you will see it.
I had it for breakfast with an orange and some almonds and raisins.

I like those, Herbwormwood.
Granovita mushroom pate ... very nice it was too  I searched the ingredients well but couldn't find any animal produce in there - being new to this though, I'm still very unsure
I tried halvah, it was so good! It was the vanilla kind.
oh god that reminds me - I have some halva in the fridge that needs using up. Mine's the grape juice-sweetened one with raisins. lush.
vegan cheese - its mozzarella flavored:)
which brand?
I bought this gang garee yellow curry paste from Fenwick's
http://www.thai-taste.co.uk/brochure...es/ing0013.php
and made 2 curries, 1 with creamed coconut, onions lentils and carrots, and 1 with creamed coconut, frozen peas and potatoes. The carrot one was the best.
vegan brownies. i bought the mix from veganstore.co.uk. they were ok, but my own chocolate cake is nicer tbh and ALOT cheaper!
Pickled mango, it's a bit tough but the flavours ok, not sure what you'd use it for though.
Vegan macaroni cheese :D. What I made myself.
last night for the first time I made Seitan...it was absolutly fabulous!!! mmmmm
Tempeh. I was a little worried at first but I really liked it! I baked it in the toaster oven with soy sauce, but put it in a frying pan with oil and garlic, added veggies, put in on brown rice and had a nice stir fry. I have to say, I think it's better then tofu, though you can do sooo much with tofu. I can't wait to try a tempeh sandwich.
I made a houmous and lemon juice dressing today for the first time having had it at a friends house. Very tasty mixed with carrots, cucumber and spring onion.
Ezekiel Sprouted grain burger bun - so amazing, and 'the original veggie burger'. I can't remember the brand name, but it was delicious.
I'm soon to have some 'natural flavoured' microwave popcorn, which I've never had. I mean, I've had popcorn, but not quite this.
I only tried quinoa for the first time very recently - I was missing out!
Walkers Worcestershire Sauce flavoured crisps.
For my lunch I had garlic and coriander naan bread (vegan of course!) topped with "Pure" non-dairy spread and caramelised onion houmous (mmmm...). This was my first time for this. I also had winter vegetable soup (although its a hot day) with nutritional yeast topping and half a tin of sliced peaches.
I discarded the grapes I bought from Sainsbury's, they were really naff although they say "we care about the quality of our fruit and vegetables". Oh, well something else to be taken with a pinch of salt.
red bananas!!!
Yesterday i ate vegan icecream for the first time!! It was almond chocolate fudge soy icecream. I shared a cup with my mom and she loved it too! She was so surprised it was my first time eating vegan icecream.
yay i finally tried nutritional yeast, tasty!
I am trying quinoa for the first time tomorrow!
ooooo awesome! i love quinoa! I always cook it with low salt veggie stock + water (1:1 mix) and add garlic powder while its cooking. Just remember to rinse it, first! It's yummo with black beans, too!
Quinoa is da bomb, yo.
I forgot to tell you... I tried Swiss vegan cheese (called "no-muh chäs"-"no-moo-cheese" ^^) for the first time on Tuesday. It was really good and amazingly cheesy, almost too cheesy for my taste (I never liked dairy cheese).
However, this leads to the conclusion that, no matter how much of an Anglophile I am, German and Swiss cheese substitutes rock.
Leeks! I've always wanted to try them as I was sure I'd like them, but just never did. Then tonight we went out for dinner and I gave the chef license, and he made potatoes with leeks. Now I am going to put them in everything.
It's funny, I've been reading this thread and didn't think I could ever contribute because I feel like I've at least tried almost everything. I was wrong. I'll look for more new stuff to try.
Like German vegan Swiss Cheese. Sounds awesome, Steffi!
