Where to get cheap sprouting seeds from?
Hi,
I am looking for any cheap(er) UK source of organic/human-consumption-grade sprouting seeds, especially sunflower seeds but other seeds as well. I found a few UK sources using Google and eBay, but they are quite expensive. Also found a few cheap(ish) USA and other worldwide sources but then the postage costs an arm and a leg (plus who knows what is gene-modified and what is not over there). Do you know any cheaper source? It can be online ordering or can be local in the Cambridge-Stevenage-Bedford-Peterborough area.
Thank you,
Attila

Not a product it has ever occured to me to look for.
Mebbe I should?
If I turn anything up I'll report my findings back on here.

You know you can sprout the shelled sunflower seeds they sell in Holland and Barrett and similar places? Suppose they aren't exactly cheap, though they do often have offers. One of the forum members is in the seed business - I expect he can advise.

these do the black sunflower seeds that you need to sprout in soil to get sunflower greens, if they are what you are after, and also the ordinary hulled kind you just soak for an hour before eating, they are organic, and come in 500g bags, but delivery can be expensive, the more you buy the cheaper it is though usually, hope that helps
