Risker: yum
Kitteh: thanks!
DiaShel: sorry, wrote a really long post a few days ago saying how great Paris now is and how you should totally visit here, and then it got deleted because it was too long since I had logged in, and I was so annoyed that I couldn't bring myself to retype it. Sorry. So let me say YES Paris rules, check out the following if you need more persuasion: www.happycow.net (Paris); www.vegetarisme.fr (if you understand French); and check out the fantastic B&B that Kitteh recommended. You'll love it! (And more pictures of Paris noms to follow when I get more time online.)
And on Friday, I received some lovely vegan cakes through the post:

Clockwise from top - Cherry & Coconut Square, Chocolate Flapjack, Cornflake Square, Fruits of the Vine Square, Shortbread Jam Slice, and in the middle is the AMAZING Viennese Whirl. These cakes were ALMIGHTY :D
They look good! :)
Gosh this thread always makes me SO hungry!

Backlog of food pictures! Have been in Paris lately with limited cooking facilities, but have had a couple of yummy meals in Paris restaurants so these photos are mostly from that.

Risker and Rainbow, all of your food looks amazing! How did those fish fingers turn out Risker?
Pretty good, I've made them before but they were far too fishy for my taste last time and it put me off. They're just slices of tofu with a strip of nori, battered and deep fried.
Sounds like heaven.

Which code do I need to copy for the picture to come up and not as a link?
Direct code, and then click on the Insert Image icon on here (next to the envelope icon)
Thanks Pusskins
I will try that next time :)
Pusskins, that shortbread looks so good! I checked out the site too, they have lots of delicious looking goodies! To bad I am in the States...
@Vegan-bellydancer - no problem!
@fondducoeur - yes, I can't find info that they post overseas. Veganstore.co.uk sell them.
Oh man, I am loving this thread! So many delicious options! As a newer vegan, I have been stressing over things to bring to our families Christmas gathering this year (ideally food that would win over vegan critics) but now I have tonnes of ideas :) Thanks to everyone who has contributed!
Super easy dinner we make several times a week- Broiled tofu (this one has garlic salt and rosemary) and steamed broccoli, to be eaten with BBQ sauce and Buffalo sauce... way yummier than it looks!
