Steamed broccoli, nut roast, cranberry jelly, mustard, horseradish, mint sauce, peas, sweet & sour red cabbage, roasted red onion, roast carrots, roast potatoes, roast sweet potatoes, roast jerusalem artichoke, roast garlic. I did add gravy as well but it made the picture look a bit unpleasant.
Unfortunately, just after serving I realised that it wasn't Sunday but was in fact Friday, Friday, gotta get down on Friday so it was disposed of rather quickly.

I used a slice of Tofutti Cheddar mixed into some warm soya milk with some cornflour to thicken it.
It was a bit runny today cos I used too much milk, but its usually better than this.
It does taste great cold as well, I just grabbed the leftovers out the fridge and finished them with a cup of hot chocolate

xwitchymagicx, those buns look really good, you can see how moist and delicious they are! Was it easy to make them g-f?.
Actually, it was not too bad, I find a gluten free recipe online that contained eggs but I just removed the eggs and they were great! I just had to turn our oven down as it gets too hot...as the second time I substituted the egg and cooked on the temperature they suggested and they weren't as good as they got to dry as I wanted to see if it made any difference...so I suppose you have to know your oven to get them the right texture!
Here is the recipe on another forum: http://forums.glutenfree.com/viewtopic.php?t=4537

My supper tonight.
Grilled veggies and salad. Everything I cooked tonight I have growing in my garden (except the mushrooms). Not everything is from my garden though since most of the plants are still young but the lettuce is fresh from my garden.

Re: Pictures of good vegan food you've eaten!
Risker, that looks soooo good and much healthier that the stuff I eat.
This is what I had for dinner tonight-
"Chick magnet chicken casserole" adapted from Peta's Vegan College Cook Book (this is my favourite dish, the recipe says use nachos (I use M&S Jalepino ones) but in this version I have used Spar bacon rasher crisps instead)
Sometimes I use Ritz Crackers (I then rename it "Haven" casserole because I was watching the tv series Haven when I thought up using Ritz Crackers, and also because Haven was based on a Stephen King book and in his other book The Stand one of the foods they mention are Ritz Crackers (I have a very strange mind - it jumps around like a butterfly so please excuse my rambling)).
This dish looks terrible but tasted devine:
http://i1123.photobucket.com/albums/...1/SDC10544.jpg
For dessert I had a hot cross bun baked in custard and chocolate (again this looks bad but tastes sooooo gooood):

Wow Firestorm, your food looks amazing! Is that desert a mixture of chocolate and vanilla Alpro desserts with jam? Epic! I also love your lunch plate, it looks like a lunch that you sat down and enjoyed :D
-
Re: Pictures of good vegan food you've eaten!
The first dessert is Provamel choc dessert and Provamel custard with jam with strawberrys under, the second dessert is crushed spiced german biscuits, sliced strawberrys, custard, sliced tangerine, chocolate dessert, more strawberrys, more custard and more strawberrys. I'm trying to increase my weight until I'm as wide as I am tall.:p

Re: Pictures of good vegan food you've eaten!
I made this tonight for my boyfriend. He was craving "neon-orange boxed mac n cheese"
This is the most unhealthy, non-dessert meal I have ever made, and although I refused to eat more than a few spoonfuls I am still quite proud of how it turned out. :D

Sorry it took so long to respond, my phone has not been getting my emails for some reason.
I get inspiration from some cookbooks, vegan websites, make some up and sometimes I get inspiration from non-vegan recipes which I veganize.
I generally never follow a recipe to the word, just use it as a guide.
The pasta was roughly 80Grams Soy Yogurt mixed with a couple small dollops of Dijon mustard and a pinch of bouillon powder. 50 Grams pasta, 25 Grams shredded carrot, 25 Grams peas, 25 Grams diced onion, 25 Grams Soy Chikin and 25 of Soy Cheese.

grated medium cheddar sheese and ketchup. Spinach for garnish (not for eating).

Sorry, forgot to answer that. I hollowed out most of the panini, then put a layer of fried mushrooms & onions, a layer of warm tomato pasta sauce, then a mixture of Cheezly Blue style cheese and Cheezly with garlic and herbs. I then heated it up:)

Re: Pictures of good vegan food you've eaten!
Behold the first vegan (non-gluten free!) cake I have ever made...it was for a birthday.
My brother was shocked it was vegan, he thought I'd used up all the eggs.
It is supposed to be three colours...green...red...blue...but as you can see, the natural food colourings I bought were not very good. lol

Re: Pictures of good vegan food you've eaten!
That cake looks lovely, moist and delicious.
I made a mistake with food colouring the other day, I made a vegan "egg" , I used some natural red food colouring mixed with yellow to make orange. It looked OK but tasted weird, thats when I realised it wasn't food colouring, it was strawberry flavouring.

Haha, oh gosh! Sorry but...lol I'd make the same mistake also I bet, as they are both red aren't they?! These Natural Food colourings seem to mix into the yellow of the cake sponge which is why they aren't so strong...but the red is paprika and that always stains even in curry and so on. lol It still mixed with the yellow and made some brown bits...I think I'll stick with either vanilla or chocolate cake from now on...haah
