I love my George Foreman. I've had it forever. I never really clean it since only the bread is touching. Only if the insides ooze out.
Yes it does. Which is why I didn't buy one but instead bought...

^ Oh now you tell me that there is a better toaster than the Diablo when I just ordered it.:D I would just rip the edges of the crusts off and dip them in houmous or something.:)
Well, I only bought this one cause it was cheap and Diablos are twenty quid. Believe me, I will be getting a Diablo next pay day. It's just so damn evil looking :D

I love this thing, it also had griddle plates and opens all the way up, great for those pancake days when you need alot of griddle space :D
Woah, Nobylspoon. For the serious toastie connoisseur!
Indeed :D Also grills up a mean veggie burger.
I know. But it moos when my toastie is done.
^ That's awesome. It puts my george formen to shame!
Today I had grilled sandwich with avacado, onion, tom, argula and hummus. It was... ::drools...
Its a CuisinArt Griddler GR-4. I got mine at Bed Bath and Beyond for $120. I was a long time George Foreman grill user but I wanted something that looked a little nicer in my kitchen.
Its super easy to clean too, just pop off the plates and put them in the dish washer.
Here is one opened all the way up with a grill plate and a griddle plate....

You absolute b*****ds. Am going to purchase a sandwich toaster at the weekend now, thank you VERY much! :p :D :D :D :D :D
(Use to have a cow one, but gave it away)
$120?!?!?! Gotta be kidding meeee!!! :(
I made these babies the other day.
They are Turkish bread squares cut in half covered in cheezly, tomato and herbs like oregano, chives, and pizza/pasta herb mix. Then I grill them till the cheezly bubbles.

That toaster sounds good Pusskins.
That sounds really nice (apart from the mushrooms) I think I would use sweetcorn and green pepper as well and maybe some vegan pesto.
I think I'm also going to do:
Scrambled tofu with strips of vegan bacon and tomato sauce,
Veggie sausage, fried onions and brown sauce,
Cheezly and baked beans,
Leftover potato and veggie curry with mango chutney.
Thanks to us appliance sales are on the rise...
hmmmm you're maiing me hungry!
i don't have a sandwich toaster though... perhaps i will look into it
