Cool thanks for the uploading tip. I just created a flickr account, so now my file won't be overly massive and should have no problem referencing the link. Haha may be the devil's food but, oh so good! Hail seitan.

wow okay that was easy! When I tried to do that before, the preview of it was SUPER big, and I got a bit scared, but it's nice it auto-resizes it for you. Thanks a lot :)

I woke up this morning really hungry, but too late for breakfast and too early for lunch so decided to have brunch instead - Individual baked hash browns (Vegan Brunch), Fronch Toast (VWAV), Scrambled Silken Tofu, Fried Mushrooms & Tomatoes, Relish. The picture quality is a bit naff (was in too much of a hurry to start eating) so I've put two up:

This is potato pizza with tomato sauce and spinach. I just used mashed potatoes as the pizza "crust" and baked it in the oven at 450 for about 15 minutes.

Wow, fondducoer, all of those look amazing, but especially the chocolate mousse pie! Love the star on top!
I like the look of your cupcakes too, Firestorm :)
^ Totally agree, the choc pie looks great!
Firestorm, did you make the cupcakes yourself? If so, how did you get the jam in? I love the idea of jam filling non doughnut desserts.
(I don't even do desserts usually but those two look really good)
I made them from the recipe in Veganomicon (recipe also available here). The original recipe said to splodge the jam on top and it will sink in during baking, but everyone I've heard of making them says it doesn't work, so I filled the moulds 3/4 full, added jam, then topped with more batter. Worked well surprisingly.
yes, i will atest to it not working as well, but still tastes delish!
@Firestorm: aww, snap! I didn't follow a recipe for my ones, just made them last year on a whim because I fancied doughnuts but don't have a deep-fat fryer. In the second photo, the person holding the cake squeezed too hard - they didn't start out that flat! I topped them with crunchy sugar rather than icing sugar, but icing sugar might be a better bet for next time.

I love all the posts on this thread and follow them all - I don't often post "that looks yummy" even though I keep thinking it, so as not to bore people, but I do keep taking inspiration from people's pictures here! I must follow the herd though and give a shout-out to that chocolate pie with white chocolate mousse - WOW! I was supposed to be going to SF next month for a conference and was so excited about getting to visit Millennium - but then my conference got moved to Seattle. :( On the bright side, I'm off to Manna (in London) for lunch today, so may come back later with some new photos! :D
^^Rainbow: Seattle is an excellent place for vegan fare. I have been there twice, once actually for part of my honeymoon, and it is fabulous. Just take a look at this link for ideas: http://www.vegseattle.com/VegRestaurants.pdf. If a nicer atmosphere is what you are looking for, I suggest Plum Vegan Bistro (although not quite as upscale as Millenium).
But SF is a great city as well, if you are able to make it out there at another time, I do suggest it.
I went to SF shortly before becoming vegan. I loved it but now I want to go back and do it right ;)
Most of my food looked kinda pretty today (well breakfast did- went down hill a bit after that).

Photos from Manna, as promised. It was amazing! I'm so glad we went there, it was possibly my best restaurant experience ever. And we had a wonderful sun-drenched walk in Regents Park afterwards. The perfect end to our honeymoon!

@ Fondducoeur: thanks so much for this helpful information! I am now looking forward to my trip so much more! :D
Must. Visit. Manna. Soon.
Seconded - I just need a good reason to travel to London.
Not to travel 200 miles on public transport:( I'll have to start looking for jobs in London (especially those close to VX). I think Booja Booja are recruiting at the moment, I wonder where they are based? That would be a dream job!!
What if there was a meet-up or somesuch? We need to have a London meet-up again, gone are the days it seems :(
Err, sorry - off topic.
I might be able to manage that!!
I would love to do a London meet-up around mid-August or early September. Someone start a thread! :)
