You would be amazed at what is on offer in French hypermarkets these days.
There is actually far more vegan stuff available there than in British supermarkets including own brand products!
I have just had a Clive's pie, minty chickpea. Delicious!
I find the smell of bacon in particular revolting nowadays, whereas when I used to eat meat I liked bacon. But generally, yes, non vegan smells do make me feel queasy nowadays.
Although I agree that we are better off with them than without them, I too have attempted to call them twice now and both times they were deeply uninterested.
Ditto. Give the money to a local animal shelter instead.
Cheers for that will look out for them next time I do the shopping!
I wouldn't worry, I started getting the odd white hair in my early 20's, and back then I was a meat eater.
Now I just shave it all off so it doesn't show!
Seriously, as long as you...
This has been on the cards for a while now, yet again it's all to do with politicians who have little regard for any life.
I think the BUAV did some good work against this but still not enough,...
That sounds great! Good luck to them, again, shame I don't live nearer!
Unfortunately there are plenty of sad, pathetic individuals who are willing to pay to let their children see disgusting acts like these.
This society really does sicken me and I am so ashamed...
I actually quite like the UHT one!
Salad with redwood sausages.
Plamil orange chocolate spread on toast
Anything sweet for me!
Ok, next time I am in town I will go and have a nose. Sounds like they know their stuff so hopefully should be able to get myself a nice soya shake!:D
Didn't know coco pops were ok though, that's...
There is also a crazy udder in kettering. Haven't tried any of their shakes as I didn't think they would be vegan aware.
Might have to investigate further...
Fry's sausage rolls and hash browns
I was once asked by someone at work (who knew I was vegan) if I went fishing! I patiently explained that no I don't as I am vegan and am not interested in stuff like that. And guess what the reply...
Fry's burger in a bun!!!
Snap, just made myself pizza with cheezly and redwood sausages. And delicious it was too!
Am thinking - mixed olive and tomato mixed in with tagliatelle... Sounds yummy!!!!!
I have houmous in my sarnies just about every day! Love the stuff! Sainsburys do a gorgeous olive and tomato houmous that is vegan.
Phew had me worried there! Have to agree they are not the best tasting sandwiches however it was convenient if desperate for something to eat...
Have I missed something? I thought their plain bread was ok? Actually perhaps I don't want to know!
Very interesting thread. I haven't tried eating in any national chain since becoming vegan but am thinking I may now give F&B's a go. I used to occasionally get a veggie delight from subway but gave...
I never really hit a road block as such. The only real craving I had on occasion is for pizza. I do make my own vegan pizza though, but I have to admit that that is the one thing that will never be...
Je parle le Francais! J'ai habite 12 ans en France quand j'etais jeune!
We last went down to the south of France last april, my first time going as a vegan, and I was actually pleasantly...

What about rewood's chicken style pieces Sandra!! ;) They are absolutely yummy IMO, I cook them with rice in the rice cooker and they come out delish!:D
The morrisons mince is actually quite nice, never liked the realeat version much either.
However my favourite has to be redwood's mince, very tasty, nice texture and not too greasy either.
Told her about zinc being good for her skin as well but still a no no!!! :-(

Yes lovely story and well done to you. I guess we all have the same issues in the workplace.
All animals including the smallest of insects have the right to life. Why is it people feel the need to...
Veggie since 2003, vegan since 2006. Both for moral reasons.
I have had these sandwiches a few times, and I do like them, my fave being the tofu one.
I know that boots isn't a terribly ethical company, however, on the flipside, the more people buy such vegan...
