Re: Vegan Food for Christmas, Thanksgiving and other celebrations

For my Easter dinner, I'm going to make a Sheperd's pie if I can be arsed.

We have apple pie in the freezer, maybe I'll see if we can heat that up for dessert. Mmm!

Re: Trying to find organic vegan Thanksgiving Stuffing

What's wrong with homemade? It's really easy to make... Honestly, using a pre-made package seems sort of silly to me.

Re: What are you doing for Thanksgiving?

Maybe you could offer to bring a dish? That way you can veganize it and be able to eat at least one thing. Even something simple like mashed potatoes.

Re: Vegan Food for Christhmas, Thanksgiving and other celebrations

Thanksgiving really isn't a big thing at our house but it's coming up and I'm really craving some "holiday" food. I really want to try a nut roast. They are so many recipes, I don't know which one is...

You might be able to find a sticky date cake recipe searching on raw recipe sites. They are always making cakes and puddings from dried fruits.

You guys are sooo lucky with your Whole Foods. I'm insanely jealous because we don't have anything like that here.

My grocery store sells Tofurkey. I sooo want to try it but I hated turkey as an omni and I am not sure if I will like tofurkey.

Re: Vegan Food for Thanksgiving and Other Celebrations

Have mine. I bought a big yam a couple of weeks ago. I still haven't eaten it. Such a nuisance to bake, takes too long (~40mins). It's going weird looking.
