Re: vegan for moral reasons only?

It's a learning curve, I guess. I was veggie for years and found meat totally revolting whilst throwing dairy products down like there was no tomorrow. Now the things I used to scoff make me sad,...

Re: vegan for moral reasons only?

Seriously, does talk of things like crab and butter not bother you?

For every one vegan who has cravings still there is one, like myself, who finds it extremely difficult to cope with the sight,...

    Re: What, no junk food?

Someone give me an idea of how to marinate tofu? Or point me in the direction of a recipe?

Whenever I try it seems to go super soggy :(

    Re: What, no junk food?

I go to the Fresh & Wild in Clapham - the basil tofu is quite tasty but I found the olive one disapppointing. Guess I'd rather use normal tofu and fresh olives really.

    Re: What, no junk food?

I'd been avoiding their tofu chunks because they have lactic acid on the ingredients?

I think I'd have to go the homemade route on this one, feeding everyone Booja truffles is not going to be cheap :D

Agreed. It's another one of their feeble attempts to look like they're doing good things, and sadly I rather suspect that most people are going to fall for it.

    Re: Vegan Multi Vitamins uk

Hmmm. I guess, in my eyes, sheep's wool is OK for veggies because they wear wool. Brain, on the other hand, is not.

Ref the multivits, have you googled it? I get mine from Fresh & Wild but I...

I really doubt you'd ever find yourself in a situation where eggs were the most viable food source.

Congratulations on being the first vegan I've met who seems to revel in putting down the people who are there to support and agree with him.

Do you really, seriously believe that every vegan...

Re: How much water do you drink?

Isn't there some statistic about how much your brain has dried out before you actually register thirst? I think it's about a tenth or something similar.
