I tried to buy Tesco Meat Free Veggie Mince, and was...
It's a nice sandwich, if a little pricey. The first one I had the bread was soggy though. They also do a warm coconut lentil curry soup type thing in a pot which is labelled vegan.
I'm not too sure I'd want this. The flavoured versions are crammed full of artificial sweeteners...
When Starbucks first came to this country Sunrise Soya Milk was all the used for several years. It was much better than Alpro...Speaking of Alpro it must be made slightly different since the last...

On their Facebook page it says "
Our Spicy soya burger is availble as a vegan option now, just ask for the vegan spicy soya burger!".
I'm not too far from Brum so I may give it a whirl soon and...
My local tesco are selling these at half price (59p). I've lost count as to how many of the chocolate shakes I've downed in the last fortnight!
Tofurkey slices, burgers and sausages! A health food shop in Solihull used to do the slices but stopped a few years ago. I've not been able to get them in the UK since.
The crust isn't too hard. The pepperoni has to be watched so it doesn't burn though. I had 2 pizzas yesterday(!) and the 2nd one came out a lot better than the first. Preheating the oven is a must!!
I'm pretty sure the pizza isn't 400g - maybe 250g? It's quite light.
Cowabunga!!
£2.79 from H&B, cheese only version too.

Hi Louise, would you mind sending me the Tesco list please? Many thanks
Just a quick update - the cheeses mentioned above are absolutely RANC!!!
They have this awful sweet smell/taste about them. AVOID!!!!
The chocolate and caramel deserts are nice, if a little sweet.
Ive not tried anything else yet..
Massive massive avalanche of vegan treats has dropped in my local Tesco (Walsgrave, Coventry).
All in its very own Chilled Isle.
The Triangular shapes in a net bag are mini desert shakes (thick...
Yup, love soya range. They also had mini sausage rolls, but not sure if it said vegan on label. The sausage themselves are pretty nice - possibly better cold in a sandwich.
They have boxes of frozen herb and black pepper sausages which are labelled vegan. They are in the 2 for £3 offer too!
Two new M&S soya products. Cumberland sausages, and sausage & mash with onion gravy. I've no idea if either of them are vegan (I can't imagine they will be), I've only seen the ticket and empty space...
M&S have started their own range of soya products. It seems to be advertised more as 'super foods' than veggie/vegan. You may need to look a little harder for it as it's nowhere near the veggie foods...
It's Burns night! Two vegan Haggis for £3 in Tesco. Perfect with your neeps and tatties!
Tesco also stock (longlife shelf) a soya milk specifically for coffee and tea. I forget the name, but it's in a brownish colour carton.
I had one a couple of days ago. Cooked it for 35 mins, they aint too bad! Very quiche like, although the consistency could be a little firmer. Maybe if I'd let it cool down first?!
A word of...
Just a quick heads up.
My local H&B is selling Mamma Cucina frozen vegetable quiche (2 in a box). I've not tried them yet, but they look quite similar to the cheesecakes!
Just a quick heads up. If anybody is thinking of buying a pie/pasty type thing from the fridges in Birmingham Pallasades for lunch today - i'd advise against it. I bought 2 cornish pasties (use by...
Walsgrave Tesco (Cov), Frozen cabinet.
Nut Roast, stuffing balls and gravy in a box! Labelled as Vegan. Not tried it yet, just a heads up!
The vegan sweets actually say 'vegan' on the packet.
It must be a new recipe, I remember when they first came out & they did indeed have egg White in them. Ingredients on back of bag now read; rehydrated (soya 81%), wheat gluten, natural flavouring,...
Frozen chicken chunks (similar bag to their soya mince) are vegan. I'm pretty sure it's rebagged Realeat Chicken Chunks. £2 a bag.
Talfun Tofu-Wieners (Holland & Barrett, Waitrose & local health food shops) are probably the don of Hot Dogs, twice the size of most and they taste so good in a roll with fried onions, ketchup &...
They used to do one with choc chips in it (same company) and it was sold at Tescos too. They do quite a few of the range.
I think it was the Ricoh Tesco, if not it was definitely the Walsgrave one.
Ooops! Apologies for sticking this in the 'cheese' thread!!
Tesco now sell this http://www.ilovepeanutbutter.com/detail_17010006__4.html
Dark Chocolate Dreams 16oz
All natural peanut butter blended with rich dark chocolate.
I've not opened it yet, but am...
Popped in to my local Holland & Barrett & bought home some new Redwood Gourmet Burgers. A bit pricey at £2.49 for 2 but extremely delicious! I wrapped one in tin foil & baked for 20 mins.
I've not...
Asda Walsgrave (Coventry) have the slices. They really do taste like regular processed cheese slices too! Nearly 5 grams of fat per slice is a little bad though!
Tesco Walsgrave are selling off...
He was interviewed by Mark Lawson on BBC4. You can still catch it on BBC iPlayer - 2 days left to view!

Last time I checked (Xmas) After Eight Mint Chocolates now have butter oil in them.
I'm pretty sure Sainsbury Bacon Crispies have had their vegan label removed too. I really hope not though!
Coventry Asda (The big one) has bags of Grassingtons Chicken Nuggets which are vegan. They've also reintroduced their own brand frozen chicken fillets - now with added milk/egg!
They do all organic versions of stuff not available anywhere else. They have some pork sausages that taste like their cheatin' bacon, which are very nice. Stingy at 4 in a pack, but nice!
My Morrisons stocks all 3! They did a special where each cost £1. I bought 6 bags of meatballs and 4 boxes each of chicken and beef.
I seem to have a love hate thing going on with the meatballs,...
I will do! I don't hold out any hope though, their website hasn't been updated for ages!
