Yea, I had a nasty shock when I picked up some Free From Chicken Nuggets in the vegetarian freezer - I expected them to contain egg but not chicken!
It no longer exists - we're figments of your imagination

*waits in suspense*
I'm totally going to Sainsburys tonight if they are.
Slightly skeptical thou.
I've been paying too much! Is it passable when mulled?
and our survey says? Eeeeh urrrrr ;)
Genius. Have you mailed them? A couple of years ago they had vegan labelled mince pies with butter in. They didn't recall them, but had a notice next to where they were on the shelves.
It is with great pleasure to say that to the best of my knowledge they have indeed finally stopped selling it in those small overpriced 500ml bottles and gone back instead to selling by the litre,...
they are browner
Not yet, will check it out. We've stopped drinking smirnoff red; blue is more expensive but very noticably nicer.
 I'm shocked by your boldness
In with the fresh juices. The sainsburys in question wasn't one of the super massive ones, about mid sized.
Honestly you'd have to be insanely lazy to...
They are definately getting better again at vegan labelling, saw several new products today. They sell premixed (without the alcohol) fresh cocktails now (incredibly lazy, but the pina collada one...
We usually use mango sorbet, sparkling wine and frozen berries in a smoothie machine, which seems to work quite well. Approx 1 bottle wine, 1 tub sorbet and a good couple of handfuls fruit.
Now...
bless you for correcting my typo in your quote :)
I can confirm that the raspberry/blueberry sorbet is very nice blended with bubbly.
In less exciting new the nut cutlets seem to be indentical to those that tesco have been selling for years.
The vegetable fingers are ok for a change, but I don't think I'll buy them again soon. The sorbet is good and cheaper than the M&S raspberry (that I used to buy before i started boycotting them this...
maybe it means that beyond normal allergy advice where contamination can be caused in very extreme cases, in this case they actully do no cleaning between batches and use all the same stuff.
Marrers: I'm special? :)
Stu: at least someone appreciates my inuendo ;)
RW: I use a different email address and name everytime i contact a company. That way if i ever get spam I know who sold my...
keep em coming..........
Dear Ian
Thank you for contacting us to request that we sell redwoods in our stores.
Please be assured that we do listen to our customers and try to stock the...
I've contacted sainsburys in the past and there's existing threads on the subject, but i fired another one off this morning just for good measure ;)
ah, my mistake then ;)
The vegan recipes have been on the sainsburys site for several years. If you see non vegan ones that claim to be then complain, I have in the past.
Kiran's thread seems to have been merged with...
If we share emails we can spot which is cut and pasted and which is hand written. Although, it's fairly obvious anyway ;)
I wrote to them a little while ago to ask why there have 2 types of...
I'm not sure i'd go that far - I acquired and ate some last night ;)
Certainly not bad thou, and reasonably cheap at 99p for 2.
Cool, will keep an eye out. Fat is my friend :)
interestment :)
