Not quite! My local carribean store does a mango and mint sauce, its really spicy and very yum, so I mixed some of that with soy sauce and marinaded some tofu in it.

as a rule of thumb avoid fats which are solid at room temperature, and be less cautious of fats which are liquid at room temperature.
you've probably just built up a tolerance to the taste of salt, try weaing yourself of it.
