My ankles and knees are shot from running in formation in the service.
So now I just go for brisk walks... the last one this weekend was about 10 kilometers (6+ miles). As long as I can get my heart...
now who could argue with those eyes?
Mine is 22 or so ... but I could actually use a few extra pounds.
I'm 6'5" and 180lbs.
missbettie. We are not advocating eating roadkill, or flesh of any kind. Rather, we are exploring the (situational?) ethics behind eating it.

In a way it is promoting cannibalism. but, only under extreme circumstances. I think it comes down to the same ethical question you posed earlier... To what degree are we responsible for the way...
Actually, that is exactly the reason I don't wear fake leather clothing. Even though the individual item is vegan, it's my belief that it fosters the desire for the real product.
No, not the ick-factor, although... ick.
I simply do not see flesh as food. But you do raise an interesting point... would that change if it meant continued survival. For me, my thoughts now are...
Quoted for truth!
Well, I have to admit Maggie's Spinacoli (spinach, broccoli, & garlic) pizza is my favorite :)
Ethically speaking, If you were to make a jacket of the deer's skin. would you see it as promoting the use of animals as clothing?
Well, all three are teenage now, so there isn't much work. :)
Every other weekend I get my kids :D
The question could then be expanded to ask... "Is there a moral dilemma with eating the flesh of a human that lived a free life and then died a natural or truly accidental death?"
Maybe it's just...
Well, I do have a spare room ... most days. :p
TJ's delivers to my apartment

I may just have to move to the UK.
Go for it... That sounds like a great trip!
I've not been to South/Central America in over 20 years. I think there might be a few countries that I'm still not welcome back
Not quite the question you asked, but interesting none the less... When I was first separated, starting the divorce procedures. I started dating again, no big surprise there. As I already have three...
Breakfast: Vega with orange juice and blue berries.
Morning snack: 300 grams roasted almonds (I couldn't stop)
Lunch: Stir fry tempeh with broccoli, green beans, red/yellow/orange peppers,...
A word of caution from Boston (aka bean town) ... Boston baked beans are generally not vegan. They add a piece of pork fat in every tin.
My kitty also keeps a vegan diet ... but she's not picky about food, and seems to love the vegan kibble I feed her.
Whenever I have stuffed olives around she goes nutty until I give her one ... I...
Just this year I've started to play the bass. I know the music scene here is really going, and quite diverse, but I really don't know much in the way of recording studios... sorry.
Well... I was talking about the little city across the river from Boston MA. :)
:Edit:
I'm feeling quite lucky to have 7 fully vegan restaurants, 2 fully vegan pizza places, and countless...
I looked up the local vegan meet-up (because of the other thread) there are now more then 260 members, and that does not include other groups like the Boston vegetarian society.
Sounds a lot...
