Great that you're back! I missed your yummy bentos! :)
Roxy, this bento looks even more mouthwatering than usual! 2 questions:
1) What brand is that chocolate?
2) Is that cake homemade? If so, where can I find the recipe? I want to have some right now!...
I'd be more than happy to come round for dinner ;) :D
Ah, Roxy's back! I missed your bentos. That pasta salad looks yummy!
Yeah, it's now commonly understood to mean this kind of pasta because of its shape. The word in Italian, however, means barley, and as such you can buy it in Italy.
"orzo" is Italian and means barley. When I was living in Italy we often had "orzotto" which is risotto cooked with barley instad of rice.
Unfortunately there's a bit of confusion, because in the US...

Now that's an idea... I'll have to check out Birmingham's Chinese stores! Thanks for that! :)
I should have bought a different colour bento for contrast - my food is too similar in colour! Either that or I'll have to start eating more blue stuff ;)
Today's bento:
top: 2 pitas filled with...
Roxy, you know where this pic has to go, don't you? ;)
What's this dessert tofu like? I've never heard of it, but sounds intriguing! And it looks so beautiful with the blueberries!

Not the most colourful lunch, but nice: butter bean salad, 2 mini pitas (second one was still in the toaster while I took the picture), raisins. also had a banana....

It is a very beautiful one indeed!
ep, exactly my thoughts...i need all those cute cutters, and containers, and dressing bottles... and a bigger bento, of course :D
Of course! Would we settle for anything less than the best? :D
Nope, just happened to be the cheapest by far, and I figured that would be sufficient to make a start. I've seen so many nice Bento...

I ordered mine there, and it was despatched yesterday - can't wait to get it!
I ordered my bento box yesterday, couldn't resist the temptation any longer to have a 'proper' one rather than my ordinary tupperware. And will come in handy as I'll be spending long hours in the...
Gosh, Jamboxrock! Have you ever thought about running a lunchbox takeaway? You could make a fortune!
Thanks, I must have a look for the rice crackers today!
Est, where do you buy those rice crackers? I can't get them off my mind now! :D
@jamboxrock: how do you cook the roasted brussels sprouts? i'm always scared of cooking them any other way than steamed, i think they might dry out, but yours look delicious!
