Thirty minutes of Iyengar Yoga with a large cat sat on me for some of it!
Lots of going up and down stairs.
My copies of Vegan Italiano and The Mediterranean Vegan Kitchen are well loved and thumbed from so much use. :) My Nonna's Italian Kitchen book is not so well used, sadly. (Not sure if I have the...
I travelled through Europe, South East Asia by train and parts of the U.S and Canada, even though my travel was being paid for. I'm not afraid of flying, I wanted to see more of the countries . . ....

Thank you, Leedsveg, but there's no need to apologise! :) I understood what you meant. Sometimes I don't always explain clearing what I mean.:o
The flu epidemic of the 1918 was to fear and took...
A lot of my Maori family died in the 1918 flu epidemic. Out of 9 siblings my Maori Grandmother and 4 others survived!:(
His says: "Every 2 years or so, there's a 'new flu' epidemic. Whether...
Yes, it does!:) If my memory serves, it's the same woman that article was about I read.
I'll stick to being a vegan!;)
A few years ago, I read of an Australian woman and a man in NZ who 'were' breatharians. I'm very sceptical of anyone claiming to be breatharian, I need absolute proof it's possible before I...
I've been eating cream Scheese this week and really like the garlic and herb one!:)
Thanks for the idea on how to use up the remainder of that crude! ;)
I read this on Yapoo news this morning:

My OH works with a guy and his wife at the unit. The husband and wife often have some friction...
I agree, CW!:)
I have severe food allergies to ALL animal and fish proteins, and citrus fruits. Even the smell of fish and meat being cooked can trigger an Anaphylactic attack in me.
My last attack was in...
Hi Korn,
Thank you for your understanding of my situation!:)
You're last paragraph has read very much to how I was raised by my Maori/French family and their thoughts on 'modern life' and...
Oh great! So even less vegan choice than before!
It's true, money is a great persuader over everything else!:(
Hi,
I'm sceptical of Wikis scientific details, and couldn't find much on the differences between Neanderthals and our ancestor's diets, unless I was registerd with a websites for these topic, so I...
Much research has found that Neanderthals are either a subspecies or different species from Homo Erectus/Sapiens. Neanderthals were mostly carnivorous.

Sainsbury's and some Tesco stores. Do you have a Chinese/Japanese supermarket near you? if not Wing yip stores do mail order for many foods and sauces.
I'm not sure if this has been mentioned in previous posts . . . if so, please forgive me repeating it!
Aside from the fact that human teeth are differnt to carnivores teeth, there is another...
Hey you!:p Not all of Essex is the back of beyond, :amazed_ani: my local Tesco sells the disgusting stuff . . . unfortunately! :rollseyes_ani:
Thanks for that image! That's me off any cheese cake you make!:D
Because of Misos high salt content, it will last a few months past the expirey date. Keep it in an airtight container in the fridge.
You can add it too casseroles and other soups, or make gravy...
Teasco is discontinuing them, along with their chcken style nuggets and chicken style fillets.:(
I'm not a fan of Tesco, but go there for some things, as it has a Post Office.
I agree with you! :)
We are considered the top of the food chain, but I feel it's more like the top of stupidity sometimes!:rollseyes_ani:
Even as humans at the 'top' of the food chain tribal people eat/have eaten each other. Tribes of the Amazon, some African tribes and some Maori tribes have been known too. (I hasten to add that my...
I could eat fruit all day out there! I ate way too many bananas in the Caribbean.:( I'd happily move back to Far East Asia, it's close enough to home for regular visits.:)
Lychee tea is very nice. Chinese shops here sell a Lychee soft drink I buy sometimes. I wasn't keen on the Tamarind drink, a bit too sour for me.
Would you go there for good?
Did you try Durian fruit? Do you mean a rambutan fruit? That's related to the Lychee (one of my favourite fruits). It's a 'tougher' consistancy, more chewy.
Thank you BC! :) It was a needs must when I was craving garlic bread and had no oven.
I've worked with the Police for 16 years and have seen Cola used to clean blood of the roads.
I never could stomach the taste of Cola or Pepsi for that matter. Especially as Cola is used to clean the blood off Tar-Mac after car crashes. The ingreidents used today are a far cry from the...
I bought the Pure cream cheese ealier today and I'm disappointed! I was very excited and really looking forward to trying it. . . It's too sweet and tastes too much of soya, with a grainy...
The choocy my OH has bought me for Easter has Geranium oil with macadamia nuts. I love fondant chocs with lavender, rose, jasmine and geranium, but thay are a treat due to the cost.
I like a mix of salt and sweet with chocolate bits. Another flavour sensations is black pepper, garlic and herbs (chocolate optional!:p).
Beanstew, my OH makes his popcorn with pure, golden syrup...
You took the words out of my mouth!

I had chips with curry sauce and jam, tonight (not together on the same plate).:lol: . . . Chips and jam does work, but too much is very, very sickly!:(
Anyone with a severe allergic reaction to shellfish would go into anaphylactic shock within seconds, which could then be fatal. I'd report them to the trading standards authority, immediately!
