Pus or no pus, I don't wish to be eating animal cells of any kind. The thought of the cows spending their whole lives hooked up to milking machines (ouch!) is enough to put me off dairy.

Of course, but that's not because they are vegan! There's also the issue of modern food processing stripping away naturally occurring nutrients, which is another problem entirely... it's just a funny...
I take a daily (vegan) multivitamin, and a B-12 sublingual tab a few times a week. I also use flax oil as a salad dressing, for the omega-6. People keep asking me if, as a vegan, I need to take a lot...
Sorry, I've been away. Mostly I put Punk Rock Chickpea Gravy on brown rice, but it's also really good over cooked greens such as kale, chard, or cabbage.
Aw. I love this cookbook. I make Punk Rock Chickpea Gravy almost every weekend, I make a double or triple batch and just... well, put it on stuff all week long. I don't like mock meats much...
