I went to the green and global fun day here in Aldershot today and it was great fun! They had all sorts of information on recycling, wildlife and saving energy.
I was really surprised to find...
I found the alpro creamy 'cheeze' a bit grainy, I much prefer Scheese creamy ones to be honest, and there are more flavours. A shame because it's organic and I would prefer to buy organic if poss.
My weight has stayed about the same but I'm a healthy size so I guess that's a good thing.
Aradia that sounds like it would be a nice recipe for Christmas for those who celebrate it.
This website looks pretty useful for airline food: http://www.vegparadise.com/airline.html
Doesn't look too promising for vegan options though.
Stuff like that makes me shout at the telly.
From an article on 'diet and cancer':
Soya
The scientific association between soya protein
consumption and the reduction of risk of some kinds of
tumours is clearly increasing. An...
Ooh I made my first bento and I keep forgetting to post the picture!
I use alpro and I've tried EVERYTHING to stop it curdling in coffee (tea is fine) and I can't do it! HELP!
I've tried:
heating the milk
stirring the coffee into heated milk and then adding warm...
I usually use it in curry pastes. Yummy!
I can't recommend many products as I'm in the UK. Also, I think a lot of people would disagree that eating eggs is vegan in any circumstance, but obviously that's a whole separate issue and I don't...
In that picture, I swear there's a tub on the second shelf down that says FART.
EDIT: It's the beginning of the word 'earth'. Of COURSE.
This evening I went to The Lobster Pot in Farnham, Surrey for my sister's birthday (expecting to have salad and nothing else). They said the chef could make something specially and he did the...
Thank VC, yours are awesome though!!
Hehe! I think I might do the same, can't wait to try that.
I just at the most delicious... buckwheat thingy:

I'll help get it back on topic - my box arrived today and I'm really excited!! :D I think I'll find it hard to keep up with the high standard here, heh, but I think it's going to be so much fun!
Thank you! I think it went okay this morning...
I don't think I'll be going into the forensic field though, I'm not assertive enough! :o

A complicated one:

I'm currently revising for my forensic psychology exam in the morning (uni finals) - depressing stuff :(
Two feet this time! Next time will there be three?!
That all looks delish! *drools*

Toasted sandwich with mint, chickpeas, pepper, lemon juice, vegannaise, marmite & spinach.
Mashed potato and baked 'cheezy' beans (with nutritional yeast), with pepper.
Another sandwich, same as...
Yummy!! Looks amazing.
If it's reassuring, our stats are the same - 5'6" and about 120lbs, and my weight found a healthy level on it's own after I went vegan.
I can do either :-) It's the shyness that's the problem!
I only tried quinoa for the first time very recently - I was missing out!
I've just ordered my bento box! I'm so excited!!
I support the teachers' strike, but my best friend, a secondary school teacher, doesn't! She says that public service workers shouldn't be allowed to strike because they are indispensible. I say they...
Oooooh jalepeno houmous! :D
I thought that about Fry's and Tartex. I think it's a good argument against those who say "oh I'd miss the taste too much so I can't go veggie/vegan...".
I love Jordans crunchy cluster cereal with nuts in.
Yeah, I'll use a little less next time, silly me! Thanks a lot xx
I really like the vegan fish-style steaks, I think they're made by Redwood foods. Though I tried some frozen ones, not sure who by, and they were gross. Maybe just try a few different products? Seems...
I made that seed cheese but found it too garlicky - maybe I used too much?
