I just googled it and your absolutely right. Wish I'd known that before and I could have got rapeseed. Normally I buy Carotino red palm and canola oil from Asda and that makes really nice cakes but...
I just went to Tesco for canola oil but they had none :mad: Has anyone tried the recipes with sunflower oil instead? If so how were they. I've a feeling that canola oil may be the magic ingredient...

Having thought about it I don't think it would matter what size cup is used as the ratio would be the same so long as consistency is applied throughout. I think its better to have the measuring cups...
I didn't know that Bryzee. Does that mean that the recipes will work better if we use American measuring cups?
Alison its easier to just buy a set of cup measurers. They sell them at most supermarkets and Wilkos.

Thats what I did but the frosting was really runny and I ended up putting in all the icing sugar to try and thicken it up. Maybe I measured something wrong somewhere.
