    Hemp Based Diet

I read recently a book that touched very briefly on a man who had found considerable benefit to his health, weight loss and general well being by going on a hemp based diet. It didn't mention any...
  4. Re: Truffles, Morels and Other Fine Mushrooms - Recipe Request.

    Me too! :)

I don't have any problems being vegan and eating truffles, plus it seems that since 1997 they have been able to grow them commercially on farms.
  5. Re: Truffles, Morels and Other Fine Mushrooms - Recipe Request.

Purchased wild ones might be I suppose - good point.

I have recently got in to fungi foraging so my enquiry was more wishful thinking for if I ever find some of these myself.

    Re: Vegan Sunday Sport model

This is great news as the average Sport reader probably doesn't consider veganism very often and this might get the message out there to people who would not be receptive to it in any other form.

I'm really phobic of them, I literally freak out very, very badly when they come near. It's strange as I'm fine with all other creepy-crawlies. Glad we're not over run with them here!

I think any public profile vegan is a good thing, one who comlpetely shatters the vegan stereotype is even better.

It is, yes. I feel a lot happier now you've said they understand at the point of ordering. I'm only a few months vegan and still getting used to these situations.

    Cheers :)
