Quite.
Oh well. I'll just have to make do with the now legendary fishless and chips. I must be the only south east Vegan not to have tried it yet!
Cheers matey :)
Does anyone know if Loving Hut offer wholemeal burger buns?
A winning formula but I'd have to add some chocolate sauce.
I actually like the new marinated tofu. I was dreading it after reading this thread but by the time it's mixed in with a load of veg and sauce in a stir-fry I can't tell the difference at all. As for...
I had one a few months ago but have only seen them at Charing Cross.
Does the monkey have union representation?
As it happens my local Sainsbury's which is overdue for a re-fit is having major problems with their chillers this summer. Last week they were all leaking water and a decent sized of the store was...
True, but I like the texture of them oven cooked. I would imagine they are less likely to develop mould over night as I plan of having the rest in a sandwich tomorrow.
I haven't seen those before. I'll have to look out for them the next time I pop in to their Charing Cross store.
I managed to pick up a pack of Redwood's Sage & Marjoram sausages today, on offer...
After a 500m swim I've just had two slices of wholemeal granary toast with pure spread and plenty of generic marmite, with a cup of Alpro Chocolate Shake to wash it down. Mmmm.
I love it. I've only just had dinner and this thread is making me want to pop some toast in and grab the yeast spread.
I miss Brighton. Alot.
And with good reason. If I buy anything chilled I check it for mould in store and it goes straight in the freezer as soon as I get home. If I had anything bigger than an ice box then I would just...
Same here. They could do with a bulk order of working freezers.
With all the waste they would be avoiding, it would save money in the long run.
A simple pleasure, my favourite breakfast at the moment is wholemeal multigrain toast with spread and thick cut marmalade and a cup of coffee. During the week I start quite early so I have to make do...
I've found it good for making Hot Chocolate too.
Those big tables were perfect when we had out meet-ups :(
Looks interesting enough for a quick bite, especially as we are without Redveg for fast food. They could do with speeding up their website though.
Cool, It was a few years ago that I visited it so it's good to know that it's still open.
Best Pizza delivery ever? I wish I could move to Brighton.
Is Oasis the one by the flyover? If so they do lots if ice creams in the summer which is useful if we get any hot weather.
Fail. I hope nobody goes there.
Thanks, I'll have a look for those
I haven't found any wholemeal hot cross buns. This could be what spurs me on to start baking.
Oh no, I haven't been able to go for the last two years either. Hopefully I'll have my life in order for the 2011 show.
No Vegan Fayre? Boo!
Even as an omni the smell at carveries used to make my stomach turn.
I don't count Wetherspoons as a proper pub lunch. At a bare minimum there should be some kind of roast dinner and a burger or two. The food should resemble home cooked food and not just something...
I'd love to find a pub lunch in London too. If I came in to some money opening a Vegan Foody Pub would be the first thing I'd do.
I really like the look of Tibits and would like to visit if I get myself up into London again, or I guess I should say when. I guess good food is motivation to overcome hurdles.
I went to the Gate a couple of years ago and was impressed. It was the first veg*n restaurant I'd visited that didn't just cook 'substitute' foods. If I was in the area I would definitely go again...
Sadly the last time I had something nice there was back in 2006 I think and bad reports have stopped me bothering to go back. It's a shame as it was lovely in its heyday. At least there is Iydea...
Those are the only flavour I don't like. I prefer a Yoghurt but the Chocolate, Mocha and Vanilla desserts are good straight after the Gym.
I hadn't but will have a look for them this week.
I love a good Pattie. Sainsbury's used to sell some really hot ones a few years back, so I'll have to pop to Tesco and try these.
I have Organic Oatly in my Porridge. I don't bother with milks in anything else, but this makes the Porridge really creamy without adding any other flavours. I would like to give nut flavoured rice...
