I totally see what you mean and where you're coming from, but having said that, to me it isn't really about whether the animal had a good life or not, it's the fact that they are using that animal...

I dont know of any vegan hair dyes as I haven't ever looked into it, but I'm sure you could find one, it might mean finding a vegan friendly hairdresser or doing some research into the different dyes...

I also know someone who started eating a vegan diet. I started up a conversation with her about some vegan shoes I'd seen and her reply was "Oh I still wear leather...."
