I am using my dad's Vitamix from 1979--and it still works like a charm. I use it for green smoothies.

Do you recommend it?

It's an appliance that dries or takes the moisture out of fruits and vegetables. It uses very low temperatures, and depending on what one makes, it can take up to 72 hours.

Right now I'm making banana chips and raisins. My dogs love dehydrated carrots!

Does anyone make bread in their dehydrator? Any recipes? :D

I'd really like to give it a try! I've been reading about different sprouters, and I especially like the ones that say, "So easy a child can do it!"

Does anyone grow their own sprouts? I'm really interested, but I'd like to hear more from people who actually do it themselves!!
