  9. Re: If you could go anywhere in Canada, where would it be?

I probably already said this but Prince Edward Island. In fact, I'm going there in August/September. Will find my way there from my New York trip. Montreal sounds great too but am on a budget.

    Re: Mince Tarts

    mmmmm

I went commercial this year. Found that the 'Walkers' brand were vegan. Otherwise, I would have bought commercial pastry and a jar of fruit mince.

Wish I could have had one of yours...

  12. Re: Do some people not agree (physically) with a vegan diet?

Well it doesn't happen now I've lost 75% of the weight but prior to that, to receive comments (either well-meaning or degrading) once every couple of weeks was not uncommon. In the supermarket,...

  16. Re: Do some people not agree (physically) with a vegan diet?

I went to Rome earlier this year but didn't have much time to research. I ended up walking around eating pistachios most of the time and stuck to antipasto.

Poll: Re: which is better? almond, rice, or oat milk

Nutritionally, I don't know but oat milk is the cheapest and best-tasting. I couldn't adapt to soy milk even after years and years as a vegan.

Almond is OK too but pricier.
