Isn't koppaberg summer fruits vegan?
For ginger beer couldn't you just buy regular ginger beer and add vodka?

Just a few months late...
Just received this confirmation email as I wanted to recheck since Morrisons are doing Lemon flavour and Toffee Apple flavour Brothers cider for £1 a bottle.
Pretty sure it is in America.
Thought this was interesting.

Good idea. Get going :D
Not in the UK, no.
I asked about the Grolsch bottle thing
http://www.veganforum.com/forums/showpost.php?p=495765&postcount=351
EDIT: thinking about it, maybe it comes from the old "all rubber is made with stearic...
Pretty sure Budvar is vegan too, and Grolsch is, in fact I just opened a can.
6 cups?! bloody hell, if I added that amount of sugar to my home made cider you'd have to call an ambulance before you started drinking it.
That's always been the case hasn't it? I know that guiness in this country is not suitable for vegans but is in others.
All the cans you buy here are marked with both where it was brewed and where...
Definately, I've read news reports before advising to avoid pub ice. I used to work in a pub where they had 2 buckets, 1 for carrying ice and 1 for other uses such as putting under leaking urinals,...
From Inbev;
So I asked them to clarify.
Unless they lied to both me and Franks contact it should be fine, you could always drop them another email though, it can't hurt to let them know they have a market for vegan beers.
^ How old is the information on that website though firejuggler? We've had recent communication with InBev who are now saying that it IS vegan and that isinglass is no longer used.
Thanks frank :) I now feel confident enough to drink it.
The message I got from inbev isn't good enough for me, not after they ignored my first email where I detailed exactly what I meant by vegan.
Quite, which is why I'm still not drinking stella. A simple 'yes' doesn't cut it for me.
Well, they ignored the first email I sent them over a week ago but just responded to the one I sent this morning, albeit vaguely.
Sorry to be pedantic mate but that's not straight from the horses mouth, unless you work at the vegan society and you spoke to the brewery directly?
(Sorry, I can't help but be a sceptic!)
...
^Is that straight from the horses mouth frank?
^ Did your friend also see the bit where they washed all the apples before they were used to make cider? this really is a 'practical and possible' situation.
Sounds positive, still isn't quite clear what's happening though.
Yes, thanks for your efforts Cumin!
Ugh...
I emailed them yesterday and got the response today.
Since it was mentioned in another thread that some Grolsch might not be vegan...
I've asked Wychwood Brewery if their booze was vegan and got a couple of rather ambiguous replies. First email from them;
So I replied
their response;
Can't remember why I queried this, maybe I just wanted to check the info was up to date, or maybe I just felt like being a pain in the arse.
I wonder what animal product it is that they use for colouring that they don't want to disclose...
RE: Kronenberg
AFAIK It's not. It's stated on the vegetarian beers website as being filtered with isinglass, though that info is 5 years old.
It is very much like fizzy ribena, I think it's really nice :)
'Stinger' nettle beer from River Cottage
The question I asked was is it suitable for vegans, here is the response.
I've seen people mention quite a few times that strongbow is vegan but I've never seen any supporting evidence (copy of email/letter from Bulmers etc). I've tried emailing them a few times in the...
Try a sainsburys bry, I think they mark a few vegan
Mmmmm... Beer...
Heineken is, not sure about gaymers, I think it's not.
Sure it's been mentioned before but this site is quite good, sure it needs updating though - http://homepage.ntlworld.com/geraint.bevan/Vegetarian_beers.html
All of Brothers Cider's products are vegan, I had to check because they're the official cider of Glasto.
