^ I don't think so...I use a brand called Red Mill, but i think all wheat glueten can be used for bread, i think its your method of cooking it that alters the flavor and the stretching of the dough....

^ if you freeze the tofu after you drain it, it makes a chewy texture. Have you tried the chickpea cutlets? those are very nummy and chewy.

i've only tried frying them, i'd like to try baking just because it would omit the oil for the most part...but i didn't have an oven for a long time...but you know fried food is ALWAYS nummy!
FYI...if anyone makes the "black bean burgers" they taste really good baked in the oven at 350 degrees until nicely toasted, and it cuts out the oil...
