    Soya milk in smoothies?

Can you add soya milk to smoothies, to thin them out? (my smoothies tend to be to thick, more like yoghurt :)). I read somewhere that you can add water, but i love the taste of soya milk - just...

    Re: Co-op goodies...

My ex-partner was one such 'anarchist'. She would go in with me to Tesco, pick up a snack and drink, and proceed to eat and drink them whilst shopping (and not paying at the end) :amazed_ani:. She...

    Re: Co-op goodies...

My local co-op (Oakham, Rutland, UK) was burnt down in an arson attack in July - clearly not by vegans. It has finally been re-opened, and I am going to buy some sorely needed toiletries today!

Re: Soy / soya milk favorites?

My favourite is 'So Good', I love the nutty taste to it. Here's the website - http://www.sogood.co.uk

Not that keen on Alpro. Tesco's own brand isn't bad.

    I LOVE SOYA MILK!!!
  12. Re: Do vegans need supplements? Do you take any?

    Re: The Lemonade Diet

I'm giving serious thought to trying the 'Master Cleanser'. This type of regime was around well before William Burroughs thought of it in the 40s, but the spiritual aspect of this 'fasting' (which is...

    Re: Vegans, health and sugar

I strongly recommend Agave Nectar as a substitute for sugar. Tastes great, is natural and is mostly frustose, with a low GI.

Plus it's cheaper than maple syrup :)

    Rooibos (redbush) tea

I have tried Rooibos tea, love the nutty taste, and am thinking of...

I will be there, probably with a friend, and am hoping it will bolster my resolve to stay vegan. Are peeps going to a restaurant after?

Yeah, I made it. Some very friendly people, a good cause by the sound of it. Just think, instead of being woken up by a 'cock-a-doodle-do', it'll be a big 'mooo!'

    Well done Midland Gal!

Re: Leicester Veggie and Vegan Fair, Saturday 7th of October
