Marzipan / Almond cake

Right now i'm making my own marzipan - yummie. i'm gonna make some marzipan balls covered with chocolate.

do you have any great things to do with marzipan? share, please

If you make almond cake, you can put a layer of marzipan in the middle of the cake and it goes all melty mmmmmmmmmm You can put a layer on top too but have to be careful it doesn't burn.

I love adding different (animal safe)food colourings to marzipan and makin it into fruit and veg shapes..I think they look ded cute on buns or cakes

yeah, i'd imagine i still have like 100 grams of marzipane in my fridge. maybe i should just eat it as it is. (i don't have an oven until next week, but then i'm gonna make cherry's almond cake for sure!)
