Guadalajara Virginia

Hi guys,

My fiance is all psyched to go to Guadalajara in Charlottesville tomorrow. I'm assuming the refried beans all contain lard? I called three different Guadalajaras but no one spoke english well enough to understand what I was asking I also read a bunch of bad reviews about orders being wrong online. Anyone have any experiences with this place? Thanks.

Heh, so I asked the waitress if they beans contain lard.

"Excuse me?"
*repeat question*
"No! *absolute shock or poor English?*"
"Well, most places do."
"No, no!" *vegetarian living in denial or assuming that I don't know any better?*

How could a mexican place not know that refried beans generally have lard? I should have asked what Is in them.

I hate eating out. Unless you're at a vegan restaurant you never really know what kind of cross contamination you're going to get.
And if that's not enough to freak you out, the smell is usually that of dead animals. Icky!
