I have no problems with soya milk curdling in my coffee - but when I go to my partner's, it happens a lot, no matter what we do. We think it might have to do with the local water, but have no way of being sure. I live in Edinburgh, he lives in Inverness. Anyone have similar problems? My favourite when I am at home is Alpro Unsweetened.

I haven't had trouble with curdling, but I have started using hempmilk over soya because it causes congestion. I think rice milk also is less likely to curdle because it tends to be more watery and has less fat content.

Here's what Donald Watson wrote: "Nut milk is a good substitute, but it does not go well in tea (therefore cut out the tea and add yet another ten years to your life)!

Donald Watson lived 60+ healthy years after he wrote this in 1944, but I haven't seen any evidence that cutting out tea will add 10 years to someone's life (or know if he actually drank tea)...

Alpro never curdles in tea when i make it, only in coffee. i think it goes really well with tea - i have the sweetened one. i like my tea strong, sugary and milky

Same here about the curdling - in coffee but not tea (which is cured by putting the milk in the cup before you add the coffee). I am still loving the fresh Alpro Light (unsweetened) and find non-vegans don't mind this one - some can't even tell the difference. It is the one kept in the chiller cabinet, not the long life version.
