I had chocolate cake the other day, the recipe said to use wholemeal flour, terrible mistake, might as well have made it out of bread.

Julian Graves shop is starting to mark their packets as vegan, and the shelf labels. So prepare to eat yourself sick on Vegan Turkish delight with or without coconut(its the most chewy TD I've ever tasted!!) blackcurrant and liquorice sugar free sweets, cinder toffee, pontefract cakes, choc dusted pumkin seeds, lots of hard boiled sweets.
Hurrah!
Yeah, Vegan store uk seem pretty useless on the amounts they keep in stock and what they say on the website, I've never had a complete order, there has always been something out of stock after I've ordered. Or having to chase for refunds on out of date items and being charged of items I didn't get. I've given up ordering from them. If there was a another vegan shop I would have shopped there.
Turkish Delight is goooooooood.
Just ate a boxful all to myself It was only a small box, though...
In that case.....they have a buy 3 boxes for a fiver offer at the moment.
mint newman-o's are my favorite thing ever. i will also eat swedish fish until someone physically takes them away from me...the ingredients are so awful (basically wax and sugar) but they are so yummy anyway. sigh.
The only good thing about Christmas to me is marzipan... I made a lot of marzipan chocolates last week and my flat was smelling of chocolate all over. Yum!
I made sloe gin chocolate the other day - 85% dark chocolate with sloes that have been steeped in gin for 3 months

But it sounds divine, twinkle!
I completely forgot about Rittersport marzipan chocolate...my grandma used to stuff me with it as a kid so I couldn't eat it anymore for quite some time, but have recently rediscovered it.
For people in the UK, Raspberry Ruffle is vegan. I dont like them myself as they're too dry, but many people do. They do hanging bags of them now in 'chunk' size pieces - Poundstretcher were recently selling the bags on special offer.
what is Raspberry Ruffle?
Its a sort of coconut mixture with raspberry flavour, coated in dark chocolate (no butterfat or milk in it). I think it's too dry but many people like it.
sound like I might like it...gotta try it next time I'm in the UK (April hopefully)!
This is what it looks like, just so you know what to look for:

thx tikkin! I'm waiting for my boss to come back from the US to grant me my holiday in April ;-) I always return from the UK with a lot of stuff I don't really need...
Someone on veganfitness.net mentioned them as being vegan, and yes from what I've seen of the ingredients I assume them to be vegan (no butterfat/milk etc).
