Vegan Yorkshire pudding

Can you make it? I have ordered some egg replacer, but is there anything else you can use instead? I'm not sure what the egg actually does is it make it rise?

I used to use plain flour, egg, salt and milk, but now thought I would use plain flour, soya milk, salt, but am stumped as to what else?

Has anyone made any?
