    Default My "Raw" Goddess Dressing

    The Kitchen Witch's Goddess Dressing

    4 tablespoons Raw Olive Oil
    4 Whole Green Onions
    4 Raw Green Olives
    3 Cloves Garlic
2 Tablespoons Dried or 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley
    1/4 cup Raw Sesame oil
    1/2 cup Raw Tahini
    2 Tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
    2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
    1/4 cup Water
    1/2 teaspoon Celtic Sea Salt
    1/4 teaspoon Pepper
    2 Tablespoons Sesame Seeds
1 Tablespoon Flax Seeds soaked in 2 oz. Water

Blend all until smooth and only a bit chunky. Keep refrigerated (if you don't just eat it all with a spoon!) in a tightly sealed glass jar or other container.

This dressing *never* makes it to the refrigerator when I make it! It gets gobbled right up!

It is *very* thick; almost like mayo. If you don't have sesame seeds and flax, you can still make it and it will be thinner and have a bit less fiber and EFA's

Olive oil that is not heated or cooked and olives that aren't either Most olives are cooked and most olive oils are not truly "Raw"

are the sesame seeds and flax seeds used just to thicken it or to flavour it? because if its just to thicken it i could always use egg replacer.

You could...but it would alter the saltiness and texture as well.

The seeds are there for nutrition, flavor and texture. Experiment, O Creative Princess of adaptaions! Also, less green onions are really good too (some are stronger than others when you buy them, ya know?)

mmm this recipe works well without parsley and with red onion in place of green onion instead. (i had no green onion so tried this and it worked great!)

Can I ask what you mean by raw tahini ? I'm not a lover of tahini so will maybe put in less or try something else, but am definately going to try this - it sounds yum

I just made this dressing, and it is SO good! I think next time I'll put less sesame oil and more olive oil. I had a few spoonfuls, but I'm going to wait and use it on my salads. It's delicious! Thanks for the recipe CC!
