    Seems the St Bernards, great dogs of the Alps who for centuries bounded and snuffled through snowdrifts to rescue lost travellers, are to stay in the monastery where they originated after all. Read about it in today's Independent, here: http://news.independent.co.uk/europe...p?story=596609
