Yeah, I love Silk eggnog....I let some of my non-vegan friends try it one time, thinking they'd love it too, but all I got from them was, "it's okay." Funny how your taste buds change when you don't eat meat, eggs, or dairy products.....

I love the Silk eggnogg. Every year when it's available, I get a few cartons. It's great with a shot of brandy in it and nutmeg sprinkled overtop but it's also great without the brandy.

When my mum and sister tried it last year, they both loved it even though they were both ready to hate it.

Depends on where you are, Veggie4life139.

If you're in America, chances are you won't be able to get silk until round Thanksgiving/Christmas time. At least, that's when I start seeing it in stores.

Anywhere else, you might be able to get it now at certain stores.

But without location details, it's hard to tell you where to look or even if you can find it right now.

Silk makes Silk Nog, which is the best stuff ever!!!!! It is not sold until late October, and it disappears in early Feb.

I have also heard there is soy nog ice cream, but I have never seen it.

I've never seen this soynog or whatever before. We don't have half the vegan stuff I have to order it off the internet most of the time.

    Thumbs up Re: soymilk eggnog!

I really like Silk soynog! I found a recipe in Vegan Planet that was called something like Holiday Mango-Nog, I can't really remember, all I know is that it sounded wonderful...the only problem is it's hard to get mango around holiday time. But I bet I could buy frozen mango, and it would work just as well!

The same thing happened to me! I thought it was wonderful, though. It was nice not feeling left out at my friends' "eggnog party".

holy jesus i tried this tonight and im in heaven. working retail had taken away every ounce of excitement i had for this holiday but heck yes its back! yumm.. the awesome thing is i always prefered the smell of the dairy/egg kind more than the taste.. made me feel rather ill to be honest.. ive had a quarter of the carton of this one already and the belly is feeling only full and happy!

I had two glasses last weekend with two shots of Jack Daniels. Hehehe. THAT was lovely.
I think I may have managed to sell it to a few omnis. I watch the cooking network at work a lot and a couple of people said it freaked them out that there was raw egg in egg nog. I launched right into "Well you know you can buy it without eggs down at Food Lion."
Failed to mention somehow that there is no way that there is raw egg in anything these days...hmmmm....not sure how that slipped my mind.
