I rather liked the couple of bits I tried. I've got some of the mozarella already, but there was a chive one that was quite nice too I thought. I didn't get to try the cream stuff, but my friends' said it was rather nice. Going to have to see if they sell any near her I think
I like football. And potatoes.
I braved the soft one with chives I think. I thought it was quite nice but I liked the cracker so I paid more attention to that!

Yeah, I had it once with the cracker, and just to make sure, I thought I'd better try it again without Mmmm... free food

I tried tofutti cream cheese and I thought it had a weird sweet taste like caramel or something.
It isn't bad, but as I've only been vegan for a fortnight I'm still missing the real thing. To my as yet uneducated taste buds it tastes rather like soap. I will try and get hold of some Cheezly to see which is better.
in a healthfood shop i don't usually go in i discovered... vegan blue!! oh its wonderful! doesn't look blue but does taste it. cheese is the only thing i miss and this is much nicer than the other alternatives out there. yum!

Agatha - what shop is that? I live near London.
the make of cheese is Scheese comes in a blue packet. And the healthfood shop is right by Highbury Corner, on St Paul's Road. Sadly can't remember what its called. I shall have a look next time I walk past.
Ooh, Toni asked Sheese about the palm fat they use. It is definitely from a sustainable source! The blue one is sooooo good
"Danger" could be my middle name … but it's "John"
I do like the new scheese - more than cheezley, the only cream scheese i like is chive one - mexican one was yuck!
They are a bit rich for me, i like the medium cheddar cheese, garlic and chives, cheshire is ok as are blue and not keen on the smoked!
Anyone tried the Edam version?
Don't - vile, absolutely vile. Spat it out and chucked the whole packet away.
But maybe that's harsh, maybe my packet got freakily tainted with toilet cleaner
Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha. The first time I tride Avercardo I thort it tasted of soap. pppphhhhhaaaaa.

You strange person. Avocado is the most loveliest thing in the history of ever. Unless it's underripe, then it's yucky.
The first time I ate soap, I thought it tasted of avocado.
i think avocado is one of the vilest things i've ever met, and that is saying something
The smoked one starts off nice, but finishes off with the taste of a stale ashtray.
We've decided to remain fake cheese free, anyway. There are still questions hanging over palm oil production, even if it is called sustainable.
I found avocado was a bit of an acquired taste. I'm still not mad keen on it. It works quite well in smoothies, though.

Me to Pob, I'm trying to stay away from prosesed stuff, going for fresh and local but Olive Oil and Dates, still so far to go. For them and I n I.

Did you try this one?
*Backs away slowly*.
Avocado is delicious. OMG. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, it definitely helps with any cheese/egg cravings I find.
Peace, love, and happiness.
I love ripe avocado!
But I cannot have anything like that in a smoothie (even though I know tomatoes and avocados are fruit) - it makes me feel sick!
I'm sure I read on here someone had lettuce in a smoothie urgh!!!
(And this point is related to Sheese how? ha ha)
Beetroot in smoothies! Oh yuk pob.
Avocados are evil and vile.
Beetroot smoothies - Pob you sicko
Next you will be telling me you drink carrot juice
In the interests of those after info about sheese, please use another thread for avocado or smoothie posts. Thanks.
Ummm i love the soft sheese spread stuff, very nice but very addictive.
I loved it when they invented vegan cheese back in the early , for years we had to make our own out of tomor, yeast extract and soya flour, it was disgusting, but edible, what gives me the boak is any kind of scheese,it smells like baby nappies, and tastes like dog sick, ye cannae beat good ole` cheezly
Okay... To Sheese or not to sheese? I have an opportunity to have some sheese brought to the states for me. Do I dare? LOL
I LIKE the dog sick taste on occasion but were I to live in the US I would be a fiend for Follow Your Heart mozarella (for which I was lucky enough to be a taster/tester when I was working in LA as the owner is an old mate of my former boss) rather than imported exotic* Scheese.
*like dog sick exotic.
..but what would they do with all the cows?..
try it if ye want, but if ye get the boak dinnae blame me , if someone haz offered to bring sum tae ye fae the uk , my advice is for them to get ye sum redwood cheezly instead , try the melty , and the one that disnae melt , good luck
Boak is another word for 'sick'.................as in, 'It would give you the boaks'
I like Sandra, she keeps making me giggle. Daft little lady - Frosty

I thourt that one was world wide.

perhaps it hasn't reached manchester yet (where I grew up).
I had a nacho style Sheeze sandwich last night. It was awesome and it melts really nicely too....YOU MUST TRY IT!
The taste of anything in my mouth for 5 seconds does not equate to the beauty and complexity of life.
the "blue style" one is good as well. nic on crackers with mustard and tomato.
can't wait for the christmas without cruelty fayre - an excuse to stock up on discount goodies!
Me & Emily got loads of free stuff at the vegan fayre cuz we told some guy she wasn't a vegan yet...not a lie...and we had loads of free sheeze!

i couldn't find any sheese around here, where i live, i could order it, but it costs 4 Euro + shipping...... i think i'll rather continue a sheese-less life instead
Okay...I'm gonna do it.....I'm going to purchase some Sheese.
Good on ya. I didn't really like any of the 'cheeses' I tried until I tried Sheese. IMO it is the most cheese like alternative of the sorts of cheeses that I used to like.
No sense being pessimistic. It wouldn't work anyway.
This product has a very nasty tangy after-taste and I wasn't slow to tell the manufacturers at their London Vegan Festival Stall so.I think this is because they put too large an amount of vinegar in their recipes.
It's Cheezily EVERY time for me!
I tried cheezly again the other day - yuck!!!
I like the medium cheddar scheeze - best vegan cheese alternative ive found yet, but tried the soft one the other day and it does have a nasty after taste....
Its weird sometimes i like scheeze other times i cant stand it Im like that with with things like redwoods foods aswell
Hm, I've tried to Smoked one now...I am still thinking about what I think of it! lol
It smells absolutely disgusting though!!!
I guess it is because I have always hated gross cheese vegan or otherwise.
