    Default raw legumes...

    I was wondering what precautions should I take when sprouting rice or eny other legumes?? Are they ok to eat them when sprouted? Or is coocking a must?

    in my experience grains, particularly rice, should be soaked for several days to make it soft. you can then eat it raw i think, by which time it should be chewy, or sprout it. i'll see if i can get more information about this...

    You shouldn't eat rice at all when you wanna be raw. It's very hard to digest, same with all other grains. Steamed sweet potatos or normal potatos would be a healthier alternative. Legumes should be avoided too.
