Since there's no evidence documenting that all the serious, unwanted health conditions that are associated with meat consumption only occur because the meat is processed in certain ways (or similar), I disagree that humans as a species today are "capable of digesting meat without becoming ill", but since this has been discussed many times before in several other threads, I'll leave it there.Humans are omnivores. We are biologically capable of digesting both meat and vegetables.
