    Default Vegan-friendly restaurants in Canterbury?

Does anyone know of any restaurants in Canterbury that have vegan dishes on the menu? I'm going there next month for my cousin's wedding and I'd like to find a restaurant to go to on the Friday evening. Don't really mind what type of food.

    Thanks!

    The Good Food Cafe
    1-2 Jewry Lane

There is a vegan menu apparently. Try this: www.veggieheaven.com/guide/canterbury.html

Had a look at that but it says it's only open until 3pm on weekdays :-(. Might be somewhere to go for lunch though!

It's an omni place but I can thoroughly reccommend Azouma for vegan options. They have tons of veggie dishes and cos it's Moroccan food cooked by a Moroccan chef there's no hidden nasties. The menu tells you what's in every dish too.

Just to update. popped to Canterbury Wholefoods today and bought myself the hummus and avocado salad with homemade bread. Lovely food but no vegan cakes, only ice cream
However lovely service, ok prices (£6.95 for a salad) and the health food shop downstairs is truly fab, the best selection I've seen with a massive freezer and fridge section.
    Will be returning

I'd really like to resurrect this thread as i'm planning on staying in Canterbury for a couple of days in the near future!

This thread's over two years old so i'm hopeful of new places now

I'll google it too but it'd be cool if anyone has any first hand experiences of places.

    Cheers!

Last time I was there (About a month ago) Canterbury Whole Foods was still going strong. There is also a Wagamama now and they have some vegan dishes. I don't live there anymore, my family does so I don't know as much as I used to!
