Default Anyone in US able to send me Vegannaise & liquid smoke to UK?

...a few jars of organic Vegannaise and some liquid smoke in the post?

Those are two things we don't get over here. I'm intrigued to try Vegannaise because so many people on this forum say it tastes just like Mayonnaise (and I must admit, I used to love the stuff!) and I've just bought a new cookbook with a whole section on how to make faux meat from seitan, one of the principle ingredients used is liquid smoke, so it would be good to get some. If it would be possible to get an organic variety of that it would also be great.

Finally, if said person who will be doing me this massive favour could also get the products from a local, independent health food store (as opposed to say, Wal-Mart) that would be the icing on the cake!

If anyone can help please let me know, and thank you very much in advance.

I had the pleasure to meet the Vegenaise inventor as he is a good mate of my former boss. Lovely guy and family. I told him that they would clean up here in the UK if they could sort out an outlet.
It tastes like Hellman's only nicer, lighter and completely un-eewww.
All the omnis I know in LA use it as a matter of choice.

You can't send Vegenaise as it's a refrigerated product--it needs to be in the fridge to stay fresh.

Isn't that when it is opened though?

I just moved and, before I finally tracked down a health food store here that sells Vegannaise, I ordered a jar from their site.

It came in a foam cooler. I wonder if there is a way to ship refrigerated goods internationally. (?) I am sure there must be.

No, this stuff (and the company's salad dressings) must remain refrigerated, even prior to opening.

All of us in the UK should send e-mails and harangue them into supplying it in the UK ....having said that the Plamil range is rather nice so until the manufacturers of Vegenaise decide to see sense and start selling in the UK I'll stick to that!

Ah, I didn't know about the refrigeration thing!

Still, if anyone could send me some liquid smoke it would be much appreciated.

why not just run a search instead? It's nice to exchange stuff via post, but in the case of transporting liquid from another continent that can be bought here already and if wasn't made here would have been shipped in bulk it seems a bit wasteful.

Ah fairplay, didn't realise it could be bought here, I'll just do that.

    Cheers.
