Ciao William,
welcome to the board! Italians seem to be taking over!
First it was necessary to civilize man in relation to man.
Now it is necessary to civilize man in relation to nature and the animals.

Buongiorno, William! Welcome to the forum!
I've wanted to go to northern Italy for quite some time, especially since that area sounds like it's quite veg*n-friendly. There are actually quite a bit of members on this forum in Italy, quite a bit of them in northern Italy and quite close to where you live.
Thank you all for your welcome messages.
Surely northern Italy is more vegan than southern. In Milan I know several people who don't eat animal products.
Hi!
Welcome, Carismatico
Hi Carismatico, welcome to veganforum
Hi, welcome from me too
thanks a lot
hello and welcome, it's good to hear veganism is doing well in Italy!
Hello from me aswell!
Oh...we could hardly maintain that veganism is doing well in my country! Most of italian people don't even know the meaning of the word "vegan".
I hope the number of vegans in the world will grow up more and more; I think the role of the internet is very important to spread vegan values. According to my own experience, I have to thank the web for every vegan people I know and my vegan choice itself is due to the internet, because of the informations I've found in it.
Maybe in Italy finding vegan food is more simple than in other countries, because many traditional dishes are already vegan or easily "vegan-changeable"
I don't eat out often but I've never had problems finding vegan food in restaurants. And there's lots of choice of beans, pulses, vegetable milks, fruits and veggies in supermarkets, all in all I think we're quite lucky.
Ciao William!
