That sounds good because I like sweet creamy tomato sauces. So use it, and add less sugar into the tomato sauce?
dont use too much - you only need a little to make the sauce creamy - then it won't be too sweet.
what about adding a tiny dash of balsamic vinigar to offset any sweetness? or do you have any sundried tomatoes to add to give the sauce a concentrated flavour?
..or you could leave out the cream, or just thicken the sauce with a tiny bit of flour?
How about a touch of soymilk whisked with some flour (to thicken)?
Use some cream scheeze/tofutti cream cheese...should make it creamy and go nicely with it being a tomato sauce!
