I live in an area that I would describe as a vegan "grey zone." Here's my thinking...an hour north of me is San Francisco, Oakland, and Berkeley (all very vegan-friendly.) About an hour south of me is Santa Cruz (a large proportion of residents are living so-called alternative lifestyles, including veganism.)
I'm right in the middle which is great because I can travel just a short distance and have many options in food, clothing, etc. But it's also a pain because I have to travel a distance to get those options. Know what I mean?
Do you live in the center of vegan activity, a "grey zone," or a place far from vegan or vegan-accepting?
