I have a photo which will be uploaded tomorrow morning.
Await with baited breath.
p.s. great looking tofu, JBR.
jamboxrock... What have you seasoned the tofu with it lookes so good
Here's mine from last night. Yummy fried tofu with stir-fried veg and black bean sauce on wholegrain rice.

That looks proper lovely!! Mmm black bean sauce.
Huddy - The pumpkin muffins are from Vegan with a Vengeance. The caesar salad I believe is in Veganomicon, but the recipe is posted at theppk.com.
Stine - I used "cajun blackening seasoning" that I bought, though afterwards I'm pretty sure I could've just used a cajun seasoning blend I already had at home. I thought that magically it would blacken a bit more. Tasted really good though.
Bugaboo & Yum - Those links aren't working for me, I think you need to use a different kind.
Bryzee - Looks great! And saucy. Mmmmmm.
Yeah, JBR, I was thinking that about their pictures - but I thought that it was just the crappy machines we have at college!
jambox, did you just coat the tofu and shallow fry/roast??
i really shouldn't look at this thread with still an hour or so to go before dinner
awesome pub roast gorilla and lovely pumpkin muffins too. what is the gooey stuff in the middle of the muffins?
how do i post a pic? it won't let me copy and paste- please help
you have to upload to a photo sharing site such as flickr or photobucket, yum. Then you copy the image code surrounded by "[img] etc and post it here. then it should show up.
thanks very much. It's not that interesting a picture - am uploading it now onto phtobucket. Am baking apple crumble right now and then will add a pic of that too. Hope these pics don't have to be outstanding...i'm not a fancy cook lol
there you go
oops sorry thats a very bigclose up
ooh looks good. nice and steamy
Everything looks good!
Peace, love, and happiness.
Didn't use any oil on the tofu. I pressed it for a half hour or so, coated it with the seasoning, put it on a hot non-stick griddle, and turned it over when I smelled it.
And if it's my muffins you're speaking of, it's a bit of melted earth balance. The muffins don't need it, but they were still hot and I thought it'd be photogenic
yum!
Yum... you took a photo of what I had for dinner tonight!
yesterday I had a V-con breakfast/brunch- home fries with green peppers, chickpea cutlets, tomatoes and cucumber:

Me and my gf went to Brighton at the weekend and had the fajihita platter at The George. It was so yum and halfway through I thought," omg I must show the guys on VF!" So that's what you get! I didn't however have that thought with the bannana split because that was long gone before I could even think to get my phone out hehe!

OMG I need to go to The George!!
Umm those chickpea cutlets lookes so good can you post the recipe?
How funny! Where is the George? The only veggie resturant i've been to was in kingston, surrey.
Witchymagic you have quite a collection of food pics. I liked the look of your veggie chilli...mmmmmmmmmm, yum!
I'm hoping to make toad in the hole tonight..getting into making vegan food from scratch. I often eat pasta and am getting abit bored of that. Question then.... is this what you should do then to make life easier/ more varied is to cook from scratch?
yum
xxxxx
just made a toad in the hole and feel sick! It looked like cake on the outside and wasn't cooked in the inside. Have given up and am now cooking chips
The George is in Brighton on Trafalgar street...there are loads of veggie places up that way!

Each snowflake in an avalanche pleads not guilty.
cheers bryzee86 for the tip. This week i did make a list of recipes i was going to try and bought all the ingredients for. Here is the apple crumble i made last night and gave to my carnivorous housemates and they said they really liked it. One said she was surprised because it was vegan That did the job then!! I do apologise for my terrible presentation skills...i got to excited when it cooked and plopped it in the bowl...
o dear bit too much of a close up
Close-ups are good (especially when it's pudding!!) - looks totally scrummy Yum!
Blackadder: Baldrick, have you no idea what irony is?
Baldrick: Yes, it's like goldy and bronzy only it's made out of iron.

I'm not going to wait until morning.I am going to make a warming, soothing, yummy bowl of porridge for my supper now and then have another bowl in the morning, lol.
when i did weight watchers i would go o bed early if i had run out of 'points' and then i would wake up with 18 points worth of food i could eat
