such lovely food! i wish we all lived nearer to each other, we would dine like kings and queens at each others houses each night of the week!
p.s. emmap, don't forget you can make cheeze from cashews too. same basic principle, nuts, garlic, lemon, s&p, a tad water or oil.
I think these raw dishes that people are making are looking so great.
I dunno what it is but lately I think all of us have been experimenting more with the raw thing. They look awesome!

That looks good! I still haven't tried sushi, ever. I have seen a lot of pictures, though, and your sushi looks so colourful!
I love the snail plate too <3
This is the quadruple chocolate cake I made for my omni friend's 21st birthday. Not exactly gourmet but hey I'm not a cake maker like some on this thread!!!!

It is chocolate. It is beautiful.
My last cake was a disaster - I'm having another go at baking some stuff today. If anything works, I'll add piccies!

All that food is looking mighty fine!
Here are last weeks adventures:
I made homemade ketchup.
And from that, homemade bbq sauce.
And from that, grilled bbq tempeh sandwich.
Then a taco salad: leaf lettuce, refried black beans, guac, salsa, nacho sauce, cilantro & baked multigrain tortilla chips.
The from combined leftovers came bbq tempeh pizza.
I finally started a blog! Look at it for more details and recipes:

jamboxrock, would you marry me? Oops sorry, I was blinded by all of the gorgeous food you made. You could be the next Dreena Burton. Or perhaps you are Dreena Burton posing and posting as jamboxrock.

That quiche looks gorgeous!
Not quite so gourmet but I made homemade baked beans and homemade baked chips last week, and I thought they tasted pretty good:
The beans recipe is from Vegan Village.
Please excuse the manky dinner plate - one of our kitchen wall cupboards fell off the wall during the earthquake and exploded most of its contents. I'd be surprised if we had any un-chipped plates left in the house...
mmmm beans & chips
